He took acting lessons from legendary Kishore Namit Kapoor, whose acting school is one of the pioneer acting schools in Mumbai. To hone his acting skills, Rithvik also learned body language. Before shifting to Mumbai, he did commercial and communal theatre in Dubai. Rithvika also auditioned for Zee TV's much talked about dance reality show 'Dance India Dance Season 1'. Unfortunately, dancing took a back seat due to his acting career. A self confessed shopaholic, Rithvik loves clothes. Rithvik can play various musical instruments including the guitar, mouth organ, drums and the keyboard. You can find this dashing actor carrying his hard drive with everywhere so he can enjoy movies anytime, anywhere. Rithvik's day is incomplete without a glass of cold coffee. His acting career took off with a cameo in 'Bandini'. Rithvik is in relationship with his 'Pavitra Rishta' co-star Asha Negi. The duo won the title in 'Nach Baliye 6'.
