M.S. Dhoni to rescue his biopic starring Sushant Singh Rajput?

Neeraj Pandey's Dhoni biopic has been facing trouble for a while. Recently, there were reports that said the producers of the film backed out as they doubted the film's commercial viability.

While there are certain reports which also suggest that the film is being shelved, we have been informed by our sources that none other than cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni has himself stepped in to save the film.

"With the Dhoni biopic falling in trouble, Mahendra Singh Dhoni decided to invest money as a producer and save it from being shelved. Dhoni will be investing 30 crore for the film," informs our source.

Now that the film's makers have received this financial relief, it would be interesting to know when does the film go on-floors, which was earlier scheduled to start shooting in June.

This piece of news might also come as a relief to actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who seems to be facing a run of tough luck with his projects getting delayed. We have reached out to the film's publicist, and the actor's publicist, as well as it's director, and are awaiting their response.

Aamir Khan's alien, PK, has brought down the Great Wall of China. The actor turned up at the film's success party on Wednesday in the silver Hakama which Jackie Chan gifted him when he was in China.

The makers, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Raju Hirani, are much loved in B-town and everyone from Rakeysh Mehra and Imtiaz Ali to Imran Khan and Ayushmann Khurrana were there, along with the Dil Dhadakne Do team. The daaru didn't flow and there was no naach gaana but there was Aamir giving chess lessons.

The animosity is over. The friendship between Sushant Singh Rajput and Amit Sadh which had gone kaput after their shared camaraderie during the making of Kai Po Che has been re-kindled , thanks to the initiative taken by Sushant to mend bridges.

Amit , the more emotional between the two , had been loudly telling friends how much Sushant had changed after Kai Po Che, that after the film's release Sushant phone number had changed, and that he had not even bothered to give Amit the new number.

The final straw was when Sushant was not invited for Amit's birthday party this week. That's when Sushant swung into action.

Says a source, "Sushant rang up Amit and asked him why he wasn't invited. This broke the ice and the two are back being buddies."

Protests Amit, "I didn't deliberately ignore Sushant from my guest list.It wasn't my party. My best friend called a few of my close friends whom he also knew. In fact I was invited to the party at the last minute. Sushant is more than a friend. He is like a brother.We are beyond bullshit."

So did Amit finally get Sushant's new number?

"Yes he just gave it to me," Amit confesses.

Asserts Sushant Singh Rajput, "There was and there is no problem between us. People don't like me so they keep coming up with these negative reports on my relationship with people the industry."
