I agree with your points. Even before Ankita re-entered Naren's life, the cracks were there in his relationship with Pari. It took him time to realise the difference between illusion and reality. But as they say, better late than never. He was indeed a lucky man for getting Ankita back. Not everyone gets a shot at a second chance to redeem themselves. You know, the scene where Naren has made tea & is sitting watching Ankita and Ashi sleeping was a pleasant sight. It also served as a reminder that what is yours, shall become yours.

Hiten did a good job as the older Manav. I agree. And I respect him as an actor because he has often slipped in to popular roles & just got on with it. But of course - if Manav & Archana were going to die, what better way than to reunite them in the form of Sushant & Ankita. It couldn't possibly have been any other way! A good decision by the CVs...& great to see Sushant slip in to the role, one last time! Thank you to Sushant for accepting.

And thank you for reading :

I totally agree that reuniting in heaven as Sushant and Ankita was brilliant and perfect idea (i think someone on the forum had suggested it a long time ago...i wonder if the CV's picked it up?) and it was very well done I thought.

However, that said, I also felt Hiten should have been in the script the last week and they should have shown them together in a few screen shots at least...In the death scene they could have have done a split screen with Manav dying in Dubai and Archana's death in Mumbai..even they could have just shown the back of HIten's head or somelthing...as a way of showing a little distance between Hiten and Ankita. Anyone watching the show knows what it all meant. I personally felt cheated not only to not see Hiten, but there was no closure for Manav - we didn't get to see anything of him. We only heard it 3rd hand...the caller to the family and Soham to us the viewers.

Other than that, like i said, the reunion of Sushant and Ankita as Arman was a perfect ending.

btw, i also thought your wording about Ahana being an illusion vs reality was an excellent way of putting it. Wish you had not been a silent viewer all this time but a poster 😊. I enjoyed your post very much.

Thanks.

I saw one of the offscreen segments and Sushant was teary eyed while watching the shooting of the finale. He gave a lot to Pavitra Rishta and Pavitra Rishta equally gave a lot to him. It must have brought back many fond memories for him.

If I remember correctly, the CVs of Kasauti Zindagi Ki had a similar ending where they reunited Anurag & Prerna. So I think PR's end with Sushant & Ankita as Manav & Archana was very true to Balaji style. It is their way of immortalizing a very much loved couple.

I do appreciate your thoughts on Hiten. I've liked him since his Kutumb days years back. He's a lovely actor. I would say that the CVs did not utilise his talent properly in recent times. We did see Manav a lot more than Archana in the build up towards the end but yes, Manav too deserved closure. They could've shot a small portion with Manav prior to his accident, in order to include Hiten in the finale. I guess there are always things that the CVs pay less attention to..& we ponder over it. I have been in this position every time a show that I watch comes to an end!

@bold: thank you very much. That's very sweet of you. I'm glad you liked my thoughts on it. True to my username, I am a wanderer 😆 I come and go from various forums. Perhaps I might bump into you in another forum :)
