Pavitra Rishta will always be special to me. I was attracted to this show thanks to its wonderful trailer and plot, the setting too was very realistic and not like Ekta shows of that time, in fact for quite some time I did not even know that it's an Ekta show! Started watching it since the 2nd episode and was hooked by ArMan's love story.. their wonderful chemistry, their well written scenes, their vulnerable, touching characters, the background music and the excellent supporting cast.
And Manav.. I was in love with him.. no wait, I AM in love with him.. there has never been another character like him on Indian Telly and there never will be one one. He was one of the biggest reason for me watching Pavitra Rishta.❤️
Thanks to this show I became a fan of Ankita and Sushant, and had such a wonderful time in Pavitra Rishta forum, learnt so much from the members, made so many wonderful friends. I will miss them from the bottom of my heart always. Not only PR but PR forum has given so many wonderful memories.🤗 At times when the story wasn't particularly engrossing or satisfying, it was the forum which was the savior, and I came online to discuss, dissect and laugh over the show cos I loved the forum.
As with all Ekta shows, the story slowly became weaker, until at one point, Sushant walked out of the show. New characters came up, and though I stayed in touch with the show, my interest was gone, and it did not come back until Ankita got paired with Karan for a younger role.
PR might be ending now, but the show has a long and wonderful journey that all the cast and crew, the members and fans associated with it would be proud of. So much appreciation, so many awards, TRP topper for almost half of the duration it was on air, made stars out of so many actors, and led to actors even finding their love on the show. Pavitra Rishta indeed has been a blessed show and I wish all the actors all the very best for their future.
To my ArMan🤗 Ankita and Sushant will always be ArMan for me somewhere. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for being so good to their fans always and for so many wonderful memories. Like Archana said today, this Pavitra Rishta shall continue. This is not the end.
