Balaji Telefilms' Pavitra Rishta family on Zee TV has been entertaining audiences for over five years now!! And it is time for them to bid a teary farewell.
And as reported exclusively by Tellychakkar.com, Sushant Singh Rajput, the original Manav Damodar Deshmukh will be seen for the one last time on the small screen, sharing screen space with his beloved Archana (Ankita Lokhande).
Well, with this good news comes a really sad news!! The last episode will see the death of Manav and Archana.
Yes, you heard it right!!
A highly credible source from the set told us, "The creative team had to take the call of bringing back the original Manav to wrap up proceedings. This only meant that Hiten Tejwani, who played the role of Manav for three years now had to be given an early exit. The last episode will see the death of Manav followed by Archana. And Sushant, the original Manav will be shown holding Archana's hand post their death, thus indicating the union of two souls who have been very much in love. With this, Manav and Archana's Pavitra Rishta' will continue to eternity."
We hear that Sushant Singh will be shooting for the climax sequence tomorrow (7 October), and with it, the shoot of the long-running show will wrap up.
When contacted, Hiten Tejwani told us, "Yes, I will not be shooting for the finale sequences, as my track will end a bit earlier. These are creative calls that are taken, and every show that starts has to end. It is a bit upsetting to not be there to shoot on the final day, but guess the creative call was to end the show with the original Manav's return."
Guess this was a tough creative call to take!!
Here's wishing a final good bye to all in the team of Pavitra Rishta, which will air its last episode on 24 October 2014.

I'm not happy with this type of ending.

this is what happens after giving 3 years to PR..that's y I wasn't happy abt hiten taking up replacement roles..he is a fab actor..balaji doesn't desrve him

How unfair to Hiten! He entered the show as Sushant's replacement, and worked hard for ppl accept him as Manav. He was one of the saving grace of the show. How convenient of the cvs to reject him whenever they want !
