The show starts with a pooja .
Show has taken a leap of 5 years .
Banaras .
Ankita is in her room getting ready for a pooja at her home .She is wearing a pink banarsi saree .She puts on sindoor and her mangalsutra .. Her hands are filled with green bangles .
She looks at the mirror and in her thoughts she talks to Naren .
She tells him that it has been 5 years , her life has changed and she has learned to live with all the tragedies that came in her life ...she has moved on and accepted everything as part of her destiny . She says that Naren was not in her destiny but still she had to live and move on ..
Now she has her own people around her ..Last time she wrote a letter to Naren was 5 years ago when she lost her baby .Then she decided that she will break all her ties ( even her memories ) of Naren .. Her life has been strange that it keeps taking turns ..
Now her life has changed and so is her humsafar ( life partner ) .
The song Saathiya tu ne kiya kiya , plays on the radio ...Memories of Naren come to Ankita's mind ...how they got married and how they were so close to each other once ...
Her Aunt comes in the room and switches the radio off.. she tells Ankita that she looks beautiful and also gives her blessings to always be happy .She reminds Ankita that today it is 5 years and she will be celebrating her 5th Teej in this house ...
When her aunt leaves ...a sad looking Ankita takes her little file out .She has a picture of Naren in this file .She thinks that Naren and Pari must be happy together and by now there must have their symbol of love with them who would always bond them together ..
Naren's house .
In the nursery , a cute little 5 year old girl is playing on her bed .She has a lipstick which she is smearing on her face ...The little girl is Aaroshi Karmarkar ( Ashi ) ..Naren's daughter .
Downstairs in the lounge , Naren has a blind fold on his eyes and is looking for his daughter Aashi .He makes lots of mistakes , first grabs his dad , then his mom and then a servant but Aashi is no where around ...this seems like his morning routine to play hide and seek with Ashi ..
Pari goes in the nursery and is horrified to see that aashi has her lipstick on her face .She screams at Aashi .Naren hears this and goes running up in the nursery .
A furious Pari tells Naren that Ashi is driving her crazy and always meddles with her stuff. Naren thinks it is funny the way Aashi's face is looking with the make up but seeing Pari so angry he goes and wipes Aashi's face and kisses her cute little face .
He tells Aashi to apologise to Mama ..
Pari tells off Naren that instead of being angry , he is spoiling Aashi ...she warns aashi to keep away from her make up or else .
Naren tells Pari to take it easy as Aashi is just a toddler ..
Pari says that it is important to discipline her now or else her habits will become worse ..
Naren tells Pari to stop overreacting and goes to get Ashi ready .
Banaras ...
A lot has changed in this house ...Kavita and her husband now have a little boy . Vaishanvi has also grown but is as sweet and loving towards her choti ma ..
Ranvijay is in his room .Vaishu cannot decide which kurta her papa should wear .She picks up a beige kurta as she feels that choti ma will also like this .
Ranvijay puts on the kurta .Ankita comes in the room ..She is also happy with the choice of the kurta and tells Ranvijay to come for the pooja ..When she is about to leave Vaishu holds her hand , she holds her dad's hand as well . Both Ranvijay and Ankita smile at each other ...
Naren's house
Naren is wiping Ashi's face .He lovingly tells herthat she must be a good girl and stop being so naughty or else Mama won't like it .
Ashi says that Mama is always angry and she makes a face as to what Mama looks like when angry .
Pari sees this and she gets angry that Ashi is making fun of her behind her back .She tells Naren that he is spoiling Ashi and then tells him to be at work on time .
When Pari leaves , Ashi again mimics her ...
Naren tells Ashi to behave but Ashi says , " Dada is sweet and Mama is kadvi ( sour ) " .
Naren tells Ashi that Mama is also sweet but she is more strict because Ashi is very naughty and that is why Mama ( Pari ) even gets angry at him ...
Naren thinks that now Pari's anger and her arrogance is making Ashi unhappy .When they adopted Ashi they had decided to love her a lot but now Pari's anger is making Ashi not even think of Pari as her mother ..
Ashi asks Naren not to go to work ..
Naren tells Ashi that he has to go to work ..but he will be back soon to play with his little girl .
Naren feels bad that Ashi is clearly getting neglected as both Naren and Pari are so busy with their respective careers .
Pari can manage some time for Ashi but she is not doing anything to give time to her ...
He knows that Ashi is neglected but he can only give her the love of a father , Pari has to give Ashi the love of a mother so that Ashi will never feel that she wants someone else as a mother .
He wonders who were those people who left Ashi at his doorsteps and how could they leave such a lovely child like this but then he wishes that they should never come back as he cannot imagine his life without Ashi ...
In the kitchen
Naren is making breakfast for himself and Ashi . He is making sandwiches ..He had decided not to go to work .Manav calls and Naren asks him if he can atke a day off to spend with Ashi .
Manav smiles and says that it is a wonderful thing that gheis spending time with his girl as that is also very important .Manav says that Ashi is the child that has given happiness back in Naren and Pari's life and he can do anything for Ashi ...
Manav then asks Naren if he can go to America for 10 days for an important meeting ...
Ashi , who was sitting down on the counter , slips and falls down ...
Naren panics and picks up the girl ...Manav too is worried if the child is all right .
Naren says that he cannot go to America as he cannot leave Ashi alone for that long and he himself cannot be without her for this long .
Manav appreciates Naren that he prefers his relationships over money and power ...
Naren excuses himself to Manav as he has to now bandage Ashi's wound ...
Naren and Ashi are in the lounge .Naren puts an ointment on Ashi's leg ...Pari calls , she is angry that Naren is calling her when she is in a meeting .Naren tells Pari to come home as Ashi got hurt . Pari tells him that he should leave Rushali with Ashi and he should go to work and that there is no way she can come back as she is busy . She tells Naren to immediately go to work .
Ashi looks sad that Mama is not coming and she again calls Pari , " Kavi Mama " .Naren tells her not to say this and her dad is with her
Naren is trying to get some work done ...He is sitting on his sofe with Ashi on his laps . Ashi is now getting restless so he decides to take a break from work .
Ashi tells her dad that she will be sleeping with him tonight but first she wants to have a pizza .Naren orders a pizza for her .
Pari comes in and sees Naren feeding pizza to Ashi ... looks like the pizza does not have olives that Ashi likes but Naren tells Ashi not to be fussy and just enjoy whatever pizza is there ..
Pari remembers how much of a perfectionist Naren used to be and if any waiter would mess up their order , no matter how small the mistake , he would tell them to bring the food all over again ...He used to tell Pari that he was a perfectionst and does not makes any allowance for even little mistakes ..
Now seeing how Naren is ready to accept the pizza ( that came without olives ) and is feeding Ashi the pizza, makes Pari angry ..
Precap :
Naren and Pari are arguing .
Naren says that if loving your child means running away from responsibilities , then fine , so be it .I want to give time to my child .and if you think I have changed then so be it , this is the way I am now .
My Ashi is my life .
A very angry looking Pari screams at him that Ashi is not his child ...
Naren looks hurt .
