Rajeev Walia's version of the National Anthem: 70 Indian celebs roped in

As many as 70 personalities from different walks of life-bollywood, tv, cricket, sports, police, shilpkar have come together for Rajeev Walia's version of the Indian National Anthem. The new Anthem ' Jana gana mana' will be released in 150 countries and over 600 theatres from August 15 onwards and has been shot at various iconic places in the country like Taj Mahal in Agra, India Gate and Red Fort in Delhi and the Konark Sun Temple in Odisha.

Rajeev Walia told us that after 'Betiyaan' video, my friend Mr Gupta, who was screening the video in his theatre, gave me the idea of making a video on the National Anthem. However, I was sure that if I make something like the National Anthem, it has to be on a grand scale and I started working on it. It has been eight months and now finally, I am ready with my video. I plan to release it in different parts all over the world starting from August 14 onwards," Rajeev says.

Rajeev then went on to elaborate about the various known and unknown faces that will be seen in the video." I needed personalities from different walks of life and that's why,I spoke to the cricketer Pathan brothers,Magician PC Sarkar, Arup Patnaik and Raghunath Mohapatra. I have also shot 600 coal mine workers singing the Anthem and 1500 children singing at the same time. It was quite an enriching experience and I have tried and done it in my own small way, something that I can be proud of. Some of the prominent names in the video include Vivek Oberoi, Shilpa Shetty, Mallika Sherawat, Tanisha Singh, Rithvik Dhanjani, Tina Dutta, Elli Avram, Anupam Kher, Poonam Dhillon, Mohit Chauhan, Udit Narayan and Rashmi Desai among many others. There are about 70 personalities in the video and although it was tough to get them all together in one frame, the end result is worth it," Rajeev adds.Swaroop Bhalwankar has composed the track and the anthem is sung by Swaroop Bhalwankar, Pranam Kumar, Shravan Bansode, Zuber,Sujata Samuel ,Shreela Tambe and child singer Sanchiti Sakat.

The cruise is in december. So they are going in November too. Maybe she means December.
