With Ankita 2 months pregnant as well as her sister (still don't understand how they both can be 2 months when her rape too place long before anktia and Naren got together) a figure we will see a 6 to 8 month leap soon.

cant say but few months back only Ankita got the opportunity to play a young role...if leap will happen so soon again she has to play the role of old woman...i think at that situation Ankita lokhande wud like to quit the show .

When the show started in 2009, it was being shown as happening in real time (everyone had a cell phone, Varsha was making presentations through internet etc.)

From the time of the start, 2-3 years passed before the first major leap of 18 years. Two years passed in that too (with the entire second generation story), then another 20 year leap happened. So we are now at least in 2060s at this point (with amazingly little change in technology).

The rate at which this serial is taking leaps and the long innings it might still have, by the time it ends, they will have reached the end of time and all of them (including millions of years old Sulo and Savita) will be still alive and they will still be living in chawls.
