The beauty of Shashanks character is that regardless of whether the child is his, I'm sure he will raise the child as his with full love and support. I just hope his mom doesn't influence and destroy Shashanks character.

Must say that Balaji do have a bad history and track record with giving what the audience want. E.g. Nandini was raped by Ansh in KSBKBT and gave birth to his blood daughter Bhoomi. Even though she was later on adopted and raised by Karan and Tanya and that Karan loved her more than even his own flesh and blood. And there are many other example as to the rape case. I don't think the child will be Shashank's though, Balaji just love creating conflicts between two lovey-dovey birds. Just see the case of Arjun and Purvi. They were about to get married when Ovi interfered and got herself married to Arjun instead of Purvi.

I think its shashank's baby b'coz medically speaking there is very very less chances may be 0.1percent cases where the girl being raped gets pregnant due to the act . but have no hopes may be they will show that she is pregnant with raunak's child.

Unfortunately I think the baby will turn out to be Raunak's but Shashank will whole heartedly accept the child as his own .

Shashank is a wonderful human being and he loves his wife ..Mansi is lucky that she has such a loving understanding husband ..

I just hope the Karmarkars never find out about this

Wait, what do you mean "0.1 percent cases where the girl being raped gets pregnant"? Where did you get your facts? I have a medical degree and this is not true in the slightest. In places such as the US, it is common for women to have their rape kit done and then be given drugs to prevent STD's and a morning after pill to prevent pregnancy. Places like India, it is common for raped girls to become pregnant. Medically, scientifically, biologically, anyone can get pregnant from the act of sex, whether deliberate or forced, if no barrier is used or if the man's sperm is not sterile.

Mansi can very well be pregnant with Raunaq's baby unless the doctors had given her a morning after pill (which I doubt the creators of the show are smart enough to even consider).

Anyway, I hope it's Shashank's just for the sake of the mother-in-law's annoying behavior to stop.
