We need a change: If Mahatma Gandhi was alive today
Today there is unrest in just about every country in the world resulting in violent conflicts and deaths. While we have sporadic Naxalite-related unrest in some parts of India, there are rapes, corruption and fights over caste and creed.
Mahatma Gandhi once changed the nation for our good and today, we are back again with dirty politics giving a free rein in every part of our country. We ask our Telly stars, of what they would ask to be changed if Gandhi was alive?
Ankita Lokhande:
I think rape is something which needs a lot of attention as it does not only target women but also small kids. The situation is monstrous. I would ask Mahatma Gandhi to make this place a better place to live in. Actually, we all should work towards putting an end to women and children being victimized.
