I personally believe the Desmukh's were wrong for what they did to Soham. They should have never continued with Saachin and Gauri's wedding after knowing their other son was madly in-love with her. I just think that was very unfair, and to do it all in front of his face, and trying to force him to accept Gauri as his sister in-law. I think the Desmukh's are gross people! I mean who does that! To turn a man's lover into his sister-inlaw? Like what kind of family is that? Their wasn't even any feelings or real love between Saachin and Gauri, it was just a relationship that Archana brought up. I would understand if Saachin and Gauri had been in-love with each other, but it was an arranged marriage. Yet they still pushed it, knowing that Soham loved Gauri so much. They even saw his pain, and how much he was changing. He was drinking alcohol so much, and just changing before their eyes, yet they still continued with the wedding. Who does that to their child? It would've been better to break the marriage, and let Gauri marry someone else, at least it would've been better then Soham seeing his brother marry the girl he loves. I think the Desmukh's are responsible for the down-fall of Soham. He was doing so good before, and he just shattered after the situation they put him in. If my family ever did that to me, I would never forgive them. Archana never once put herself in Soham's shoes, like why should he ever sacrifice his love for his brother? Not everyone is made to sacrifice their love, or do these big "good" deeds. I absolutely hate the Desmukh's, I think their so fake, and they are not good people. They are gross people.

I agree. They played a vital role in his spiral down but I think he still had control but he chose the life he lives. I remember Pari told Archu that sometimes people who are lost don't want to be found. I think thats the case with Soham, he seems content with whatever life he lives after the D fam moved away.

Sad for his character, there was so much potential for him. So many storylines, so much that could have been but sadly this was his fate.

Yes, I really wanted to see him and Gauri together. I was very disappointed when Gauri, didn't like Soham back, because it really seemed like she was liking him. Gauri also really looked like the late Madhubala from the movie Mughal-e-Azam. I wish Soham would've just left his family completely, instead of forcefully kidnapping Gauri. I think they ruined his character, but Soham is the realest member of the Desmukh family, the rest are all fake in my eyes.
