Pallavi - Spot on regarding the pathetic treatment meted out to Purvi. How strong was the character in Q1 last year and how drastically was it changed in few months .. Looks like the most horrific character assassination were reserved only for Arjun and Purvi.

Purvi never was given a good wardrobe (except when they showed the post-marriage sequence with Arjun) but I was seething in anger when Purvi was appearing with a tape in her blouse in the SBS segment which I think is the current track.

I haven't watched lot of serials but is this the way the lead characters are treated in any other shows? Very pathertic ..

If Purvi did lose her baby, why was it glossed over as if it was NOTHING at all?

As if it was as trivial as losing her tooth or breaking her toe nail?

She lost a baby, for Christ's sake!

If it was some other female character in PR who had lost a baby or had a miscarriage, Im sure the CVs would have milked the pathos out of that situation to the last drop!

But just because its Purvi who lost her baby, its never even mentioned, nothing has been shown yet abt Purvi or Arjun talking abt the miscarriage...NOTHING AT ALL!

Well, since the CVs are Ghajini (as Vasu named them) 😆 I would like to remind the STML/memory lost writers that Purvi was expecting a child before the separation of ArVi...before the 20 yr leap!

And we DEMAND to know what happened to that unborn child of ArVi! 😳

Come on CVs, pull up ur pants and think of something now!

if i heard it correctly..purvi said "hamaare bachhon" in monday's epi

either baby is dead or will appear at appropriate time with stupid justification.

Only once we heard Sachin's wife mentioning Rohan name. after that either Pari or Purvi didn't talk about him (if he is Purvi's child). mentioning a new name could be mistake of script too.

last episode of previous leap it was shown Onir carrying fainted Purvi to threatre.
after the leap we are getting only two scenes as FB.
1. Purvi seeing Ovi and Baby with Arjun
2. Purvi packing her things without listening to Arjun.

first one was before Purvi fainted in the hospital.
second is surely after hospital scene. in this nothing is mentioned about baby. and also Purvi doesn't seems to be worried about crying for dead baby. by this we can assume baby is alive. but CVs as usual forgot to include him in script. still the face is not shown so the hunt for that boy is still on.

during Arjun and Purvi fight in the last episode, Purvi was talking about Pari's childhood. she didn't mention about another child. if Purvi has another child why she didn't mention about Rohan? Even Arjun is all the time asking only about Pari.

me too heard that. but after that dialogue was focussed only on Pari.

Just because Arvi reunion was not in the book, but a forced sequence owing to an unprecedented public demand? Otherwise why show Arjun and Purvi in the most unsympathetic light? As you keep on saying and I agree wholeheartedly the worst of everything ( storyline, plots, dialogues, execution, costumes, make-up and so and so) is reserved for Ashvik.

And the indifference towards Arvi's second baby is the heights of it. Had they shown the miscarriage, it would at least have been a plausible reason for their separation. If the baby is still alive, it would show Arjun Purvi in worse light: Arjun for not reaching for either of his children and Purvi for keeping away both of their children away from Arjun.

@ Red : My grouse exactly. When the other female characters lose a child or have a miscarriage, albeit due to their own folly or cruelty towards the baby, the CVS milk the last pathos out of the situation. The forum floods with sympathy for that character.

@ Blue: And here if Purvi has lost her unborn due to shock ( which is not her fault), doesn't she deserve some sympathy from the CVs and audience as well? Just because it is Arvi's baby doesn't mean that CVs can leave this track with loose ends.

Just show if Purvi had miscarried, Arvi's second child is alive and elusive Rohan is their child, just bring in a Dhruv out of blue as Arvi's child...but please do show something about the child for God's sake. The audience ( especially the one who like, sympathize with or even love Arjun and Purvi) need a closure on this matter.
