Let's face the reality behind this situation, everyone enters into the film and TV industry to be the best and famous so competition is ought to be eminent. Yes, Rivalries do exist in the industry but not all rivalries are bitter. It is a cat race especially so many cats flocking here every day, so everyone wants to be the best. The want to be "the best" is not a wrong thing to pursue. Each of us have our own personal space and dreams to fulfill. Having said that, I am NOT talking of the people who do not get along with their co actors for some personal choice. I am the cordial kinds & like Keeping it simple!
When I started shooting for Uttaran, I often heard rumours about Tina & me fighting on sets, ignoring and not talking to each other because of competition and jealousy. People are always keen and all ears to bite on baseless gossip. And I won't deny but it is irritating to give explanations against such fake rumours. I am still trying to find the reason behind people's motive to write such rumors.
I can still get it if the food is spicy & tasty but... this one is utter bad on the palette, apart from only looking spicy. It's a pity that these rumors misguide our viewers.
Tina and I share a healthy friendship. It is a mixture of professionalism and sensitive understanding. We are working together in same show since the last five years and there is no point to compare her with me because we play different kind of roles on screen and we are two different personalities off camera. Tina is a dear friend and she helps me as a co actor. Even when an incident happens on set whilst I am away, she considers my opinion and involves my comfort ability. We both share a thorough professional relationship on screen with which we are able to pull of this show on screen together.
I don't see my co actor as an enemy but I look up to them as a competition. Instead of trying to defeat someone I always concentrate more on winning. Who said two co actors or rivals can't be good friends. I am in the industry since a long time and I have few friends but TRUE and very CLOSE ones. Mahi Vijj, Aashka Goradia, Ankita Lokhande are my friends although we have never worked together but we share a good rapport. Another one I can think of; Mouni and Sanjeeda, they have never worked together but they are best buddies.
Earlier when I use to read these pseudo gossip stories, it used to make me awkward & upset. But now I am used to all of this. If someone is playing a negative character in the reel life that definitely doesn't make a villain in real life.Friendships do exist in the industry. Real friendship is based on mutual understanding between the two people and a huge amount of trust.
Let's just entertain our lovely audiences and trash these disgraceful rumours.. Is that a deal? Will wait to hear your feedback & comments..
