There was an ArOvi scene in the rain, as well! You're right, water must be an important symbol because this was right before they go home and...made Pia.

I had said in an earlier post that the rain scenes in PR may use up half the water supply of the city of Mumbai - but I guess as Pallvi points out, the characters also shed so many senseless tears all the time that they may be re-compensating at least some of it.
