I think it is really corny to name two of the main characters Ankita ans Shashank( too similar to Sushant).

Couldn't Ekta find any other name? It is not like she is telling their life story... it totally different.

Do you really feel Shashank and Sushant sound similar? Oh nooo the two names are way different from each other.
And I have no problem with Ankita's name.

Haww! Seriously? How can Sushant and Shashank sound similar? They are quite different...
And as for Ankita it is okay for me. But yes may be now it will easy for haters to bash Ankita directly since it is her reel name also. Anyway who cares for haters!
I'm happy with Ankita.

honestly when i saw the first episode of the leap i actually thought the new guy's name was sushant.. lol but what was archana's brothers name

Seriously, I am not a hater. I just made an observation.. It is usually the haters who call others haters..

Ankita's name was supposed to be Kavya... but I guess they changed her name at the last minute. "As we have already reported, Kavya aka Ankita will be the daughter of Sohum post the leap." (tellychakkar)
