Shirish smiles and tells them if they ask all questions now then how will they get fresh news from time to time? All is well, just wait and watch!

The journalist Manav was talking to in last episode starts asking Shirish that he always avoids his questions but today he will have to answer them. If he remembers some days ago, his company had made a building which collapsed and several people died in that! Does he consider himself responsible for that disaster?

SK's wife tells him that the case is still in court, and court has not given its judgement yet and shes sure judgement will be in their favor only! She says, When fault is not ours, why shd we take the blame? But for the time being we will help the affected people of course, but please don't call that a compensation.

Reporter says, But all the evidence is against you!

She smiles smoothly, How much time it takes to create false evidence and wipe out real evidence, you all know that very well! All the allegations against us are false, meaningless.

Same reporter asks, Did u know DK Sir from before?

Shirish replies, Not really! Just recently we met him! And I have to admit, hes a great man!

His wife agrees and adds, DK knows the Indian market and its needs very well! Its really commendable how he has established his business empire! And Im sure we will learn a lot of things from him! Already we are learning.

The reporters thank the Karmarkars and leave. Mrs K follows that one reporter and asks his name, he says, Im Brijesh.

She says, Mr.Brijesh, ur a really sharp and intelligent journalist! Why don't you use this intelligence in our favor? You will benefit from it, we also will benefit.

Brijesh asks her what she means...she says meaning is crystal clear.

A waiter was passing with drinks, she hands over a drink to Brijesh. She tells him, write good things abt us, we will do good things for you! Youre the reporter for a leading newspaper, so you write that we were not responsible for that building collapse!

Brijesh asks, That means false reporting?

Mrs. K laughs sarcastically, Come on, Mr Brijesh, there is nothing called truth and lies! One type of news profits us, another type harms us. Im just telling u to publish the first type of news..

Brijesh seems to be considering her words. She continues, youre a reporter but u also have requirements, family, ambitions, house, cars...etc etc. You take care of us, we will take care of you! So Mr. Brijesh, come to our office tomorrow and take ur check!

Brijesh says, I will think about it! Thank you!

Shirish had been observing his wife talking to the reporter, now he goes up to her and says, Rushali, whats going on? That man is asking us risky questions, hes trying to expose our company, and you..

Rushali scoffs at him, Shirish, its only business! Whoever is against us, bring them on our side, transform danger into opportunity! Problems are solved right away, its only abt solving problems, really! And u just watch, very soon this sharp reporter Brijesh will not only report in our favor but he will end up as our little slave!

Manav suddenly claps from behind, he comes up and says, Wow, Mrs Rushali, wow! So this is how you think? You reached this position by using such tactics? Isn't it?

Shirish introduces him: This is Manav, DK's business partner, the person I told u about!

Rushali says, Mr Deshmukh, do u know anyone in this room who doesn't use those tactics?

Manav tells her, don't make the mistake of comparing us to you, Madam! Our company has some principles, ethics and we run our company on those principles and ethics!

Rushali laughs sarcastically, Mr Deshmukh, sorry to break it to you, but now we are in the 21^st century and business doesn't run on principles and ethics, it runs on intelligent manipulation!

Manav is getting angrier, Rushali continues mockingly, nowadays business principles is whatever we do is the rule! But I must say Im very impressed with ur progress! From an ordinary mechanic, to become such a successful businessman is not a joke! But I do wish ur way of thinking would have also progressed in the same way! Then u would not be so possessive abt outdated ideas like ethics and principles! Really!

Manav tells her, for u these things may be outdated, but for me this is my wealth! And Im sure DK Sir will share my opinion

Shirish and Rushali smirk, Manav leaves.

DK is on the stage and he welcomes all guests to a lovely evening! He says, Today everyone has a single question, why this party is being held? And some of our eminent journalists were asking me whats the reason for this party? So heres the reason, today OVT group of companies is stepping into a new partnership and the new partners will be Shirish Group of Companies!

Everyone applauds, including Arjun and Purvi. Manav looks surprised.

DK continues, the Chairman of the company is Mrs Rushali Karmarkar, and Vice chairman is Shirish Karmarkar. We will start our partnership on some Government projects and the project which will be our first is a new one called Gharkul. Also some Business parks and some government projects. So on behalf of all of u, I would like to invite Mr and Mrs Karmarkar on the stage! Give them a big hand please!

Manav looks angry and distressed. The karmakars get up on stage, DK presents them to the guests formally. Manav gets up from his seat and goes towards the stage, Arjun and Purvi look worried!

Manav gets up on stage and glares at the Karmarkars. He tells DK, he must talk to him right away!

DK covers the mike and mumbles, Manav can we talk abt this later?

Manav insists to talk right then! Arvi get up in consternation. Manav tells DK if he doesn't talk to him privately then he wil say it in front of everybody. DK agrees, takes him away from the stage, asks him what was the matter.

Manav tells him angrily, Sir, u know very well I was against this partnership! Even then u went forward with these people! Why?

DK says, this is just a business deal! We will do a few projects together, that's it! Why are u getting so upset abt this?

Manav starts yelling, Because the matter is serious! You are not trying to understand!

All guests are standing up and staring at Manav and DK, ArVi look worried.

Manav continues shouting, Ive been trying to make u understand but u still don't get it!

DK tells him to keep his voice down.

Manav yells, NO SIR, TODAY I WILL SPEAK! You don't understand these people are not like us! Their ethics are not the same as ours! Our ethics, our ideals these are our strength, Sir!

DK again repeats, Manav, Keep your voice down!

Manav tells him, Sir do u know, to whitewash their crimes, they just bribed a reporter!

Arjun goes up to a guy and says something to him, the guy leaves. Arjun goes up to the Karmarkars and apologizes for what was going on, that it was just a family matter. I hope u understand!

Shirish says, yeah sure, but please, take care of Manav!

Arjun says, I definitely will, please Im really sorry...

He asks the Karmarkars to leave while his guy is directing other guests to the other side.

Manav is yelling, And whatever projects those people are saying they did, they didn't do a thing! How can u be brainwashed by them, Sir?

Archana enters the party, looking worried. Arjun tries to stop Manav, Baba Please!

DK tells Manav, if a businessman talks to a reporter then its merely a PR exercise! Its just part of business strategy!

Manav yells, BUSINESS STRATEGY! Sir, u are calling this a business strategy, for me this is against my principles!

DK finally says: ENOUGH, MANAV!

Arjun tries to calm down DK: Dad, please calm down!

Purvi tries to calm down Manav: Baba please be calm!

DK says, Just because u don't like a guy and don't want to work with him doesn't mean that guy is bad!

Manav shouts, TODAY U HAVE TO CHOOSE ONE OF US! ME OR THAT SHIRISH KARMARKAR! Decision is in ur hands!

Archana still standing and watching them fight. DK says, Manav, you cannot blackmail me emotionally like this! I don't want to work with ur tantrums or mood swings!

Manav yells, If our choices, our ideals don't matter to each other, then its no use working like this!

DK looks dead serious, Do u know what youre saying, Manav?

Manav says, Yes Sir! I know very well what Im saying...

DK repeats sternly, Are u sure?

Purvi asks Manav, Baba what are u saying?

Manav says hes sure!

DK says, Alright then Manav! From today, our paths are separate!

Arvi, Archana all shocked!

Next scene: Deshmukh chawl

Damodar asks Manav: What? You ended ur partnership with DK Sir?

Manav is pacing around the room, looking furious: Yes, Baba, I ended the partnership! I shd have done this earlier!! I was crazy for trying to end the differences between us! Like people say, As ending draws near, people lose their senses! That's what has happened with DK Sir! That Shirish and his wife have brainwashed him so much that now he trusts them more than me!

Damo, Teju, Sundari, Sachin, Savita, Archu all look distressed. Manav continues, And whats the use of such a partnership, Baba, where there is no trust!

Archana comes forward and tells Manav, Please calm down, we can talk abt this later naa.

Manav turns to Sachin and tells him from today u wont be a lawyer for that company! You will be lawyer for MY company! Do u hear this? DK Sir thinks I made a mistake by taking this step, I will prove I haven't done anything wrong! And from today we have no relations with DK Sir or any of his companies!

Archana says, Whatever u want, we will do that, Manav! But please calm down now! Come, lets go inside!

She takes him to the bedroom. Everyone else look at each other, Savita shakes her head!

Next scene: DK's house

Purvi is taking off her earrings pensively. She remembers Manav yelling at DK that hes breaking off business ties with him, DK telling Manav that from today their paths will separate.

She looks deeply worried. Arjun comes into the room with a worried face, he sits down on the bed and covers his face wearily. Purvi looks at him through the mirror and turns. She sits in front of him and says, I still cannot believe that Baba and Dad's partnership has broken midway like this!

Arjun says, Even I cant believe it, Purvi! Manav Baba and Dad were not just partners, they were also good friends! Ive seen their friendship from my childhood but now today suddenly...

Purvi continues, Today everything ended suddenly! And that too because of a third person who is just a professional contact for them!

Arjun frowns, are u talking abt Mrs Karmarkar?

Purvi gets up excitedly angry: Of course, Arjun! Who else? Manav Baba was totally right! By manipulating those reporters, they publicized their positivity! We just have to get hold of that reporter, check his background and show it to Dad so he knows that Baba didn't do anything wrong!

Arjun gets up, One second! You were at the party, right?

Purvi says, Arjun, what do u want to say? That Baba is lying?

Arjun protest, Im not saying Baba is lying! Im just saying Baba's mental condition is not right!

Purvi shouts, Arjun, what are u going on abt, mental condition, mental condition? Please don't say a word against Baba!

Arjun also yells back, So u will say whatever u want to abt Dad and I have to listen?

Purvi yells, what did I say against Dad?

Arjun, but that's what ur saying, U mean that my Dad took a wrong decision? My dad was trying to solve the problem but Manav Baba suggested breaking off partnership with him!

Arjun goes to the wardrobe angrily, Purvi follows him, I don't believe that ur blaming Baba for everything!

Arjun turns around, Im not blaming him! Manav Baba is my Guru! I grew up watching him at work, Ive learned everything from him to reach this position! You always find the wrong meaning to my words! I don't understand why!

Purvi says, Im not misinterpreting ur words, u are not understanding me! Okay, if u don't understand my words, at least u can understand what Baba was saying?

Arjun says angrily, I don't understand why ur taking Manav Baba's side for so long? Isn't my Dad ur Dad too?

Purvi shouts, Arjun, what are u saying? Of course hes my Dad, that's why I want their misunderstandings to end! Ok, lets do one thing, I will talk to my family, u please talk to Dad!

Arjun tells her, Purvi, there is nothing left to talk abt! After what happened today, what is left to reconcile? Did u see Dad? Till today, Dad has taken all business losses positively in his stride! But today the whole media was on top of him to answer abt this! His reputation is at stake now! While coming home in the car, he was silent, I could see he was completely broken from inside!

Purvi yells, Arjun, I know all this, Im his Bahu, I understand all this..

Arjun shakes his hands in exasperation, IF UR A BAHU, THEN BEHAVE LIKE A BAHU, PURVI!

Purvi stares silently. Arjun continues, Purvi I just want to tell u, don't support Baba without reason!

Purvi cries, what do u want to say?

Arjun vehemently says, If you are a Bahu of this house, u want to respect this family, then learn to respect my Dad! Theres no need to support Manav Baba unreasonably!

Purvi is crying, shocked! Arjun leaves the room, she cries out for him to listen to her just once, but he doesn't and leaves!

Next scene: Deshmukh chawl, ArMaan's bedroom

Manav is awake, cannot sleep. Archana looks at him, she tries to talk to him, Manav I...but he turns away from her.

Next morning at the Prison

Soham is telling Balan: Baba I don't know what I will do, how I will do it? I have to get out of here and only you can help me! Mayi told me Gauri's wedding date has been fixed with that Sachin! If wedding takes place then... Baba help me get out of here! Whatever u say I will do, just take me out of here!

Balan yells, Have u gone mad? Your obsession with that girl is not gone? Living in jail still has not brought u to ur senses? I feel like leaving u here forever to rot! But I cannot do that, I have a father's heart! I cannot see my son sad! Anyway, I will do something, to bring you out of prison!

Soham tells him, So this work don't just say it! Do it! Take me out of here quickly!

Balan tells him, I will do what I have to do! But u also have to promise me...

Soham asks what promise? Balan says, after coming out of jail, u have to go straight to Patna and throw out all thoughts of that girl from ur mind!

Soham agrees, he will do as Balan wants! Balan says, Are u sure? Then alright, I will try to get u out of here very soon!

A prison guard tells Balan time for meeting prisoners is over, so leave.

Balan leaves after reassuring Soham that he will bring him out of prison very soon and to take care of himself!

Next scene: Ovi in Canada

Shes looking at some files. Her mobile rings! Its Archu calling her, she says, Yes Ayi tell me!

Archu asks Ovi how she was doing, Ovi says shes fine, she asks Ayi how she was?

Archu says, shes fine, she has something she wants Ovi to do...and she has to do it! In Canada theres a hospital named Green City Hospital, do u know where it is?

Ovi looks shocked and nervous, she looks at the medical file in her hand and thinks to herself, why is Ayi asking me abt this hospital?

Archu says, Will u say something? Do u know that place or not? Tell me..

Ovi stammers, Yes, Aaayi...it's a good hospital!

Archu continues, We were thinking after Sachin's wedding, we wil take Manav there for a checkup. You please make an appointment for him! Ovi, can u get this job done?

Ovi is crying but she says, Yes, Ayi, don't worry, I will make that appointment!

Archu tells her, shes in great tension, she doesn't know what to do, Manav's condition is worsening! You please talk to this doctor.

Ovi agrees tearfully. Archu tells her she will ask Sachin to mail all Manav's reports to Ovi

Archu asks Ovi when her assignment will be over and when will she be free to return as Sachin's wedding was drawing closer.

Ovi assures Archu, her assignment is going on, as soon as its over, she will come home!

Archu says alright, let me know after u talk to the doctor there.

Ovi agrees and hangs up, she looks apprehensive and distraught, shes crying!

Next scene: Soham in prison

A prison guard opens his jail cell and gives him food. Soham pushes the plate away, saying, take this back! I don't want this!

Guard taunts him, Should I get food for u from 5 star Hotel? Eat it quietly or else u will die of hunger, understand?

Soham looks at him amused, I wont die of hunger, very soon I will be out of here!

The guard tells him, Really? Keep on daydreaming as much as u want! Ur trusting the words of that gunda? Idiot!

Soham gets up angrily yelling, Ey Budbaak! Talk respectfully! Hes my Baba! I will become a Bahubali as soon as Im out of here!

The guard says, he made a fool out of you! Hes not ur baba, if he was he wouldn't give u false promises!

Soham growls angrily, What nonsense are u saying?

Guard tells him, when he went out after meeting you, I saw him talking to his men! He has no plans to get u out of here!

Soham says, Youre lying!

Guard tells, Would I get any Kuber's wealth by lying? Whatever I heard, I told you! If u want to believe me, then do, otherwise go to hell!

The guard leaves locking the jail door, Soham is thunderstruck! Baba lied to me! He deceived me? Everybody behaves like this with me! They use me and then throw me away! I have nobody in this world!

Soham shouts in rage and starts kicking and throwing things in his jail cell!

Ovi at the hospital in Canada, shes telling her friend: As long as I was in India, there was some problem or other at home, that's why I had to leave my baby here and stay back in India! But now I wont leave my baby and go anywhere! Ayi is coming to Canada with Baba, for his treatment! I don't know what to do, I have hidden the truth of my baby from them! What will I tell them later? Im having a lot of tension! How will I manage all this?
