Telly heartthrob Rithvik Dhanjani, a multitasking workaholic by choice, has his hands full with a daily soap and never misses out on the chance to add some more work to his already crowded kitty. And the actor seems to manage it all with effortless ease.
Rithvik, who'll be seen in the episodic 'Yeh Hai Aashiqui', sounds quite excited, as he shares, "I was sceptical about taking up an episodic. Considering episodic of crime-shows and some romantic shows have lacked in execution part I was wary. But I was convinced that this was a show I shouldn't miss out on."
So has it been like a super hectic schedule? "Indeed it was madness.I am doing Pavitra Rishta, anchoring a reality show and then spent a week shooting for Yeh Hai Aashiqui (YHA). Doing YHA felt as if I was shooting for a film because it was a love story with a definite ending and good script. I love to drown myself in work. I pray to god to keep me busy and let me do good work," says Rithvik.
Talks about Pavitra Rishta taking a generation leap are on. What's Rithvik thinking " will he be doing the show, post the leap? "The talks are on with makers. The story has to be convincing enough for me so that I can take up a matured character " because I don't think I'll be able to do justice to an elderly role. Though I am an actor and I should try it but, I guess my performance is so full of energy that I won't look convincing as a teenager's father," shares Rithvik.
Acting, dancing, anchoring " now what's next on Rithvik's list? He laughs, "As an actor, you should always keep your trump card hidden from your audience. I want the audience to keep expecting more and more from me. I want to do 'different' work " good and memorable roles " so that audience appreciate me more. That's why I love to surprise my audience with something they never expect me to do."
And what does Rithvik prefer doing in his leisure if he has one? "I never have such luxury of leisure time. But whenever I get sometime " I catch up on watching movies, keep going to theatre to watch plays, gigs of my actor friends." And though he "loves" to "travel. But, I've not taken a vacation for over a year now. I recently went to New York for an event and though it was for work, it felt like a vacation!"
