@ red first is onir try to understand purvi but purvi did not listen but she wants in this method pari will be get her real father name...what can he will be do where real mother wants this mess up...here onir fault is he keep secret of purvi's truth and also for this he paid and learn from his mistake and now stay away from purvi and her family...so here onir did only one wrong step but its good he rectify his mistake and gave happiness to all and its sure he never repeat same mistake...

ovi also did a huge mistake but from her mistake she learn and now she become mature...

i think arjun also learn lesson ...

but what happened with purvi she always fall in crap and for her dump decision always gave negative impact but she never learn from her mistake...always she repeat her mistake in different way ... ...thats why all hate purvi...

first time mistake is nothing but just a lesson for u...

secondtime mistake is mistake...

but third time mistake is not mistake but its ur fault and also a sin

but if u repeat always then it will become ur habit ...and destroy ur all good qualities...

thats actually happened with purvi...

Sorry but I don't agree with ur defn of villian.. But to each his/her own...no need to argue on 2 immovable positions...to me tho this meethi churii is deshmukh karma ...they made purvi an emotional fool. I guess she will learn the hard way that these Deshmukhs know nothing except to slap, yell, and emotionally blackmail and be emotionally blackmailed in the name of good and sacrifice...

Yes, she made a mistake by sheltering Soham. She made the wrong decision. Were her intentions wrong? No.

She didn't deliberately do it to hurt her family. She didn't stand there and think "okay, this is great. I can hide Soham here so I can get back at that stupid D family. Screw Sachin Dada. They'll never find out HAHAHAHA HA HA HA HA"

She did it because she remembered her promise to her brother. She did it because she lets her emotions take over and make irrational decisions. She did it because she always tries to see the best in people and their actions. Does this make her a villain? Nope. Does it make her foolish? Yes. But def not a "villain".

One begets their own karma...many times through their offspring. Archu raised purvi with her ideals...though it seems purvi gets slapped a lot despite this... (Not saying necessarily they were deserved or not..that's another debate to leave for now)..
Chalo...u say fact I say opinion...let's just agree to disagree :) I think we teeter on some similar thoughts that purvi made stupid mistake...we differ on the villainy of it. Let's move on...

When a loved one does not support your decision or acts contrary to it, it is quite natural to feel extremely disappointed. However, when you know that their actions were not prompted by malice towards you, then people tend to understand if not approve.

In this instance, Purvi has been extremely stupid and thoughtless. She has allowed herself to be swayed by her love for her brother and acted against the interests of people who love her. However, it is also obvious that her actions were not prompted by malice but rather a desire to somehow get Soham out of the hole that he is digging himself into.

So yes, Purvi is irritatingly stupid and gullible. It is an insane, thoughtless act but not a malicious one!

purvi's mistake is she always hide the truth from everyone. I think that is the reason why she always get a lotta slaps and blasting from archu and others. She may have good intentions but since she mix those good intentions with lies the result were and will always be negative. She can help but she should do it without hiding anything or lying about every single thing.

I wasn't sure which thread I need to respond to as there are couple on Purvi's actions but thought there are more facts to be clarified here than in the other ...

- Nobody is defending Purvi's actions in hiding a criminal knowingly. Legally that is wrong and she was punished by Law for that. Never mind that it was her husband who took the blame and the jail sentence , it is a matter between them both that they are sorting out.

- Arjun is very justified in his anger that Purvi bought disrespect to his father's reputation and that she had not reacted to and acted on his warning about Soham's behaviour. He is making her realise how big her mistakes are and I truly hope Purvi learns from this mistake.

- Dwelling a little more on Purvi's psyche, of all, she is the closest to Soham, full stop. She had the utmost faith in him since beginning, the faith that no science could explain (as she only knew him as a criminal who kidnapped her) but only her heart could justify, she has seen him transform himself into a better human being after he became a Deshmukh and she is the one that Soham has completely confided to.

In fact, even in "the-heightened-awareness-of-Gauri " state that Soham has started living these days, Purvi could still through to him, he looked touched when Purvi gave him food and the key to the store-room before Vishnu Lala took over.

Yes, she has seen Soham violently hit Sachin but her heart would still say that it was in the fit of anger and not jump into the first possibility that he is now a hard-core gunda. It was these emotions that made her sway at the slightest assurance from Soham that he will turn himself in and seek forgiveness from his family. It was an error of judgement on her part and she is a complete emotional fool.

- However, to jump to conclusion that Purvi had a malice and an ulterior motive in hiding Soham is not acceptable. It is also not acceptable that whatever harm that may happen to Gauri (personally don't think it will happen in the show) can all be attributed to Purvi giving shelter to Soham for a night.

Purvi accidentally discovered Soham in the house, it is your guess vs mine that he would have continued to hide there even if Purvi hadn't seen him and made his escape at any appropriate moment.

Want to remind everyone that Soham has been escaping from Police for a very long time, even in this instance, the police had searched Purvi's house thoroughly when they first suspected Soham could have taken refuge there. They did not find him and they are highly unlikely that they will search again. Even Archana in her heights of emotions told Purvi that if she had not hid Soham , "shaayad Police unne pakad letha". We are know the odds ,,,

So, lets not lay the ground for holding Purvi accountable for any issues arising in Soham or Gauri's life in future. If that's the case, lets be fair and trace it all the way back when Archana and Varsha started it all.

Malice is determined by intent and not consequence. Purvi would certainly feel and should feel responsible if Soham does something to Sachin or Gauri. However, that would not change her intent or make it malicious.
