The charming actress was born on 23rd August, in the year 1989 in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. She hails from a wealthy Rajput family settled in North India. Asha did her schooling from St. Mary's Higher Secondary School, Dehradun. After completing her schooling she pursued her graduation in B.Com from the well renowned DAV College, Dehradun. On having finished with her graduation, she took up a job in some Tours and Travels Consultation Agency in Bangalore.

Asha was always interested in acting and therefore moved to Mumbai to try her luck in acting and also took up a course in acting in Mumbai. She won the title of Miss Uttarakhand in the year 2009 and this encouraged her to start her career with modeling. She appeared in a lot of big brand ads.

Asha Negi Current Show:

The 24 year old girl has bagged the lead role in Ekta Kapoor's Pavitra Rishta, aired on Zee TV. Here, she plays the role of Purvi Deshmukh (now Purvi Arjun Kirloslar). She is adopted by Mrs. Archana Deshmukh and is brought up by Archana and her mother. Archana gets separated from Maanav who stays in Canada and raises Purvi single handedly as her own daughter.

When Purvi grows up she plans to reunite her Aai (Archana) and Baba (Maanav) and manages to delay their divorce by six months. Meanwhile, she meets Arjun and they fall in love with each other. On the other hand, Ovi (Archana's biological daughter and Purvi's step sister) loves Arjun. Purvi, Arjun and Ovi get trapped in a love triangle.

The story takes a six months leap where Purvi is seen to get married to Dr. Onir Dutt whereas Ovi marries Arjun. Both Arjun and Purvi decide to compromise with their lives and are not happy with their respective married lives. But Purvi succeeds in bringing back her Aai and Baba together.

However, different circumstances are being shown and ultimately Purvi and Arjun happen to marry each other. Purvi gives birth to a sweet little angel named Pari.
The daily soap by Balaji Telefilms is running since 2009 and is currently the longest running show on Zee TV. It has also received many Awards and Nominations. The family drama made Asha gain popularity as well as recognition.

Asha Negi Other Serials:

The 5 feet 6 inch beauty also appeared in many hit and miss roles in various TV serials before Pavitra Rishta happened to her. She donned a cameo in Sapnon Se Bhare...Naina, aired on the channel Star Plus. Here, she played the role of Rohini Vahini's sister named Madhura and portrays a negative shade. She loves a guy named Daksh and plans to snatch him from Naina, a girl whom he loves.

Asha got her big break in Ekta Kapoor's Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, aired on Sony Entertainment television. She essayed the role of the lead Ram Kapoor's biological sister named Apeksha Malhotra. But she soon got replaced, once she picked the parallel lead role of Purvi in Pavitra Rishta.

Apart from these, she did guest appearances in many fiction and non - fiction TV shows like Punar Vivaah, Hitler Didi and Bigg Boss season 6, to name a few.
