I do not want to take away anything from Parineeti's performance because I genuinely think she must be mind blowing. What I have realized is that Parineeti getting maximum praise does not take away anything from the performance of Sushant's. There could have been other factors for her character and performance to be noticed more. Also, Sushant has got some glowing reviews as well. Maybe, they both are good and its for you to prefer between the two. I actually liked Priyanka more in Barfi, but Ranbir was outstandingly brilliant in the film. Ranveer got all the praise from BBB, but Anushka was equally good. Don't worry, I am all good now. And yes Anupama said both are equally brilliant, so that's another opinion.
Sushant Singh Rajput, whose second movie Shuddh Desi Romance released on Friday, says his source of inspiration is Bollywood badshah Shahrukh Khan.
"I told Shahrukh when I met him that I'm an actor because of him," said the 27-year-old actor.
"When I used to watch his films earlier, I used to feel that acting as a profession is so powerful, you can convince people of something which you're not. Or maybe it's so larger than life and you can hide behind all these interesting and exciting characters. But I didn't take acting seriously then," he added.
Sushant Singh Rajput, who made his Bollywood debut with Kai Po Che!, made the confession on UTV Stars' show Breakfast To Dinner. The episode featuring Sushant will air on Sunday (September 8).

difference of opinion... some subhash k jha gave SDR 1.5 stars where as gave zanzeer 4 stars... similarly rajeev masand gave zanzeer 0 stars and SDR 3.5... but i actually wonder authenticity of subhash k jha

Something is wrong with Subhash K Jha. He seems to have become not only paid critic but a paid journalist as well. He ofcourse writes a lot of good articles about Katrina, but I have noticed that he also been churning out some really petty articles on Sushant. Its as if that he has some grudge against Sushant. Well, there have been some other reviewers who have criticized Sushant, but its his that caught my attention because it seems to be personal. For all his talk of "zoron ka attraction", Raghu, as played by Sushant, comes across as a wimpy womanizer, scoring brownie points with any woman who opens her mouth to let his tongue in. If the hero had been played by a more intelligent actor, he would probably have been interesting. In Sushant's hands, Raghu is an irksome skirt-chaser. Nothing more.@ bold: How can he have his own notions about the character and say that's not how Raghu is supposed to be. What if the director wanted the character to be an irksome skirt-chaser and not anything more?

this is i guess indian express one... i just don't get one thing why everybody becomes a critics... most of them cut copy paste... but these lines in bold can never be of any journalist

No It is Subhash K Jha's. I have copied and pasted the part from his review online. I have read the Indian Express review (the performance part) and they said that though Sushant has the spark, he is uneven which I think is a justified criticism. I thought the criticism that Sushant has got from a couple of reviewers was fair enough, but it is this guy who I thought went overboard. His four stars for Zanjeer speaks for itself.
