I do not like the usual names either, but its just that I don't like the sound of Naren. Sounds too uncleish to me...and also 'Narayan, Narayan' keeps ringing in my head. Its not Hero wala naam as Pappu tells Om in OSO. And, I wish Ankita's name was Kavya in the show. Firstly, because its little tricky using the same name for both the character and the actress and secondly, I like the name Kavya. Anyway, that's their names now and I have to go with it. Thanks, for the tip on the other show...I think Balika Vadhu also does a pretty good job in terms of relationships and stuff. But, I am just enjoying myself watching all seasons of Masterchef Australia on the net. Food and Reality show together somehow makes the best TV entertainment!

Yup, Virudh was on Sony. Got that wrong.

Anurag was great as Satish. PR's casting at the start of the show was bang on...they couldn't have been more right in choosing the actors they did. And thank god for that!

I guess Ekta is trying to repeat the Gauri formula by giving Ankita her real name as her screen name...lol...it was the same with Gauri Pradhan in Kutumb and even some shows after that I think Ekta repeated that name for her.

I initially found it a bit weird but now I think I've settled into the sound of this name onscreen for her as well...Kavya would have been nice but Ankita's good too.

As for Naren...LOL it doesn't make me think "Narayan" :S...actually sounds a bit like Viren to me honestly...I just like that it's a DIFFERENT name and not a COMMON one...has a polish to it...
