1) I clearly heard Manav telling Archana that he hoped Ovi too would find someone and be happy in future. Archana also worried how would Ovi react when she heard of Arvi marriage. So its not true that Armaan are not thinking abt Ovi because they ARE!
Remarriage is not gonna fix anything for Ovi. Dumping the problem onto another guy isn't gonna do it. It is time to step up as parent and be there for her. The emotional rollercoster of a broken marriage, a dead child, and life falling apart warrants the support of her parents. Archana wasn't there for her growing up, now would have been a good chance to see her bond with Ovi...go to Canada spend quality time with your vulnerable daughter (spa, shopping, any leisure activities really). I get that Archana has other children, however, at this point Ovi needs her the most. Manav cannot leave because of work commitment but Archana surely can. Heck they're so rich, they can all afford to fly over to Canada every weekend and back by Monday. The fact that her family made an effort would surely make Ovi feel much more secure and at ease then being forgotten. As for Manav and Archana giving Ovi a shout-out once in a while, I have to say this. Talk is cheap. Walk the walk as a parent.2) Why arent Armaan thinking abt Sachin's marriage? Abt Soham's marriage? Abt Teju's marriage? Why would they only think abt Ovi's remarriage who is still recovering from a failed marriage? A marriage that she had insisted upon in her own stubborn wilfulness, a forced marriage of one-sided love? Ovi didnt listen to them then, why would she listen to them now? She lives her life according to her own wishes, so they leave her to her own devices!
Marriage doesn't fix anything. Read above points.3) Ovi went to Canada on her own free will. She could have stayed back in India and moved to some other city to avoid Arvi, just as Purvi had moved to Kolkata a year ago! But Ovi wanted to do modelling and she could do that in Canada only, which is her homeground and where she could lie abt her marital status.
Like I said, she wanted to escape the situation and how can she escape with Purvi and Pari there as a reminder? She can't possibly go to another city in India as she did not grow up here and would not be able to adapt like Purvi did in Kolkatta. She went to where it seemed most convenient place. And please, the maritial thing was just a stupid plan hatched by Cvs to make Ovi look like a bad guy. It is illegal in Canada for employers to ask about marital status. Even if it wasn't illegal, it's ethically wrong not to hire someone simply because they are married. I too would lie/withold my marital status if it meant losing my job as a protest against this injustice.4) I dont think any woman or girl here would be desperate like Ovi to chase madly after a guy who has clearly stated in public that he doesnt love her! How cheap of her to pursue a guy like that and force him to marry her!
Yet most Indian serials are based on a love-sick guy relentlessly pursuing a girl and fangirls can't stop gushing about how handsome hunk he is, etc. 😆 Double standard there to call her cheap. Ovi did not hold a gun to Arjun's head. She did not rape him continuously. He gave her hope everytime he had sex with her. He shouldn't have gone for a second inning when Ovi wanted out in their 1 month anniv. I have no sympathy for Arjun. He was willing to get married to Ovi if Purvi didn't accept him (which she later did) He is really a coward. If Ovi agreed to be Pari's maid (let's face it, that's why Arjun wanted Ovi to stay back), he would have stuck with Ovi. Thank god Ovi got dignity to step out. The so-called deal has been beaten to death. Besides that fact, what does that have to do with Archana and Manav helping Ovi out through this difficult time? A parent would be there for their children regardless of whether they commented explicitely that they need help. A parent can sense when their child is in need. Arman fails big time. Even a stranger can deduce that judging from history of Ovi's coping skills.5) Purvi has a child, the child needs a father, as Archu clearly mentioned to Purvi abt her own problems when she was bringing up Purvi alone. As long as Onir was with Purvi, Armaan were not worried for Pari's future as Onir was her father (adoptive). But now Purvi and Pari are alone, Pari needs a father so Purvi has to remarry, according to Armaan. If Ovi had a child and she was divorced from Arjun, Im sure Armaan would try to get her remarried as well.
What happened to "progressive India"? 😆 Purvi has her whole family helping her out. Infact she dumps Pari to whoever has a hand. The re-marriage should happen but right now it's not a pressing matter. There's no urgency in it. Purvi is strong emotionally, has everyone's support and a career to keep her busy, It can surely wait. There's no need to spend all the time planning Purvi's wedding with all that has happened. It is high time Arman priortize their efforts.

The only thing important for manav is his archana. Whatever archana likes he will definitely like it too. Now archana prefers one daughter over the other so this henpecked husband manav is also supporting the daughter who has archana's love and sympathy. I wouldn't be having any issues about archana supporting purvi if only she was shown giving equal support to both daughters as both purvi and ovi went through a lot of pain especially ovi who has no one but herself and her modelling career. No mother, no father, no family. She is the real orphan now not purvi. Even the twin sister and the granny were never seen to rush to her side to give moral support. It's true that it was ovi's decision to stay away from everyone but a good mother and father will definitely check on their child from time to time especially if he/she is suffering from depression and has suicidal tendencies. The cvs should have at least showed archana flying to canada even once or twice just to show the viewers that she is doing her responsibility as a caring mother or at least show her calling her ovi everyday, reminding her to take care of herself, giving assurance to ovi that no matter what she will always be there for her. If she can't be with ovi in person then at least the cvs show archana giving moral support by getting in touch with her troubled daughter always. In that way, i wouldn't be feeling that there is favoritism.

^ yep, it's as if the whole marriage of their daughter Ovi with Arjun never happened. Damn, where are the chawl cats when you need them? 😆 They never would let something like this go. The scandal would be too good to pass over their daily gossip. Might last them a couple of weeks even.

👏 Agree with everything.
Though I have to add one thing. A parent might love all their children equally but a parent should handle them differently based on certain traits. Say if a child is more fragile than another, it is always a good idea to invest time in making them stronger. When one is struggling more under the same condition, a good parent would lend them more support.
Right now, emotionally Purvi is doing well, Ovi not so much. Purvi has a child, a family, is stronger emotionally, has Sulo's family, Arjun's family. It is high time Arman realize that their support is needed.
