CHAPTER 3
arjun, dk, archana , sulochna all were tensed . dk was calling someone, where else archana was hugging sulochana and crying profusely and arjun was walking to and fro acting all panic
"i don't understand aai , meri purvi phone ku ni utha rai? wo theek toh hogi na?" archana cryingly asked sulochana who patted her back to soothe her.
"archu tu bura ku soch rai hai? acha soch humari purvi bilkul theek hogi ati hi hogi dekhna tu abhi ajaye gi" sulochna said controlling herself
"arjun son, i have talked to the inspector he is on his way he will be here , relax purvi ko kuch ni hoga" dk said putting his arm around arjun's shoulder and squeezing it
"dad i dnt knw what to say" arjun started too say but stopped as he saw purvi standing serious on the door..
"purvi" arjun muttered under his breath
purvi was looking at all and was serious, she was wearimg a green saari and looking beautiful, when archana heard arjun saying purvi's name she looked in the direction where arjun was looking and saw her daughter standing like a statue, archana wiped her tears whie arjun ran to purvi and hugged her tightly literally crashing her bones. but purvi didn't moved a bit.. arjun broke the hug and looked into her eyes which were filled with tears , archana ran to purvi and kissed her forehead
"kaha thi tu purvi? hum kitnay pareshan thay? phone ku ni utha rai thi? bol na?" archana bombarded purvi with questions while purvi was just looking in arjun's eyes
archana brought purvi inside
"beta where were you? we were so scared"dk said calmly
"bol na purvi" sulochna asked when purvi didnt replied
"purvi everone is asking something that too from you? may i know that where the hell were you? and why the freaking hell do you carry a cell phone when you cant answer one? i called you infinite times, ots 5 pm purvi , where were you? why did you sent the driver? speak up damn it!" arjun blowed the roof by his anger
purvi gulped down looking guilty and thought in her head "arjun is so angry abi kuch bta ni sakti sbkay samny kia karo" purvi looked back and forth between arjun and archana who were waiting for an answer
"son relax, calm down" dk said
"i cant dad, i was freaking out here and there she is all fine i guess and not answering " arjun said sarcastically
"aai, arjun i am sorry. mai mandir gai thi toh wahan say ghr nazdeek tha toh mainy driver ko bhej dia, jb mai ghr arai thi toh mujhy meri dost mil gai wakt kaisay guzar gya pata hi nai chala i am sorry " purvi said looking down
"purvi tu pagal hogai hai ? hum yahan pareshan ho rahay thy aur tu apni dost kay sath thi? demag thek hai tera? teri zimaydari ni banti kujh inform krna ya kuch bhi? " archana angrily said
"aai wo" purvi continued
arjun looked at purvi not believing and shooked his head while sighing
"i am waiting for you outside in the car, come fast" arjun ordered "namastay aai chalta hu
arjun left while dk put his hand on purvi's head and said "dnt wri everything will be fine" dk also left
purvi innocently looked at archana
"what? aisay mat dekh mujhy u knw arjun ka gusa jaiz tha ,mujhy tujhsy yeh umeed ni thi purvi" archana went away
purvi prepared herself and went to the car, the journey back home was quite.. purvi kept glancing at arjun but he was angry and was driving with a serious expression. arjun stopped the car infront of the house and opened the door and closed it loudly and went straight to his room, purvi followed him quitely and saw arjun throwing his coat on the bed and taking off his watching,purvi closed the door and quitely stood infront of arjun .
"i am not buying any of your story do you get that mrs purvi kirlosker?" arjun said sternly
"arjun listen" purvi said
"no you listen to me purvi, u dnt knw to drive i have bought you a car and a personal driver. tumny driver ko bhejwa dia, u were not picking up the damn phone tum janti ho how tensed i was?" arjun shouted at purvi
purvi knew that she have to tell him the truth, so she opened up her purse and was about to take something out when arjun took her purse and threw it away shocking purvi
"arjun" purvi said shockingly
arjun grabbed purvi from her both atms and brought her closer. purvi felt his hot breath on her face, his eyes spoke the emotions
"i was scared to bits purvi, mujhy laga maine tumhay kho dia, mujhy laga i lost myself, u taught me to smile , to live, meri zindagi tumsay hai purvi, tum ni toh shaid mai khudko kho du ga, isliye plzz purvi donot test my patience and tell me where were you" arjun said softly, and purvi's eyes skipped a tear, she cupped arjun's face and removed his tears by her lips
"woi toh bta rai hu arjun" purvi said "mai mandir gai thi phr i thought of buying some gifts for aai and aaji to mai paas walay mall gai thi aur phr"
FLASH BACK
purvi was holding her cell phone in her hnd and was looking around a the mall to buy something good for aaji and aai when she felt as if her world was tilting, purvi put her hand on her head and felt like earth rotting around her.. purvi moved to the centre of mall
"mai arjun ko call karti hu " purvi said breathing as if her b.p was low and suddenly purvi fell on floor with a thud and the mobile she was holding broke. people gathered around her and a nice old lady helped purvi and took her to the near hospital..
AFTER 3 hours
i opened my eyes to see my surroundings and gradually take in the fact that neither was i in mall, or nor was i at aai's house, it was a hospital, i was in a room, i sat up looking here and there to fimd my phone to atleast call arjun , when my eyes saw the clock which was hanging it was 3 pm i shooked my head
"shit everone must be worried" i told myself when the doctor came in and smiled at me
"so you are awake mrs?" the dr asked
"actually its mrs purvi arjun kirlosker" i answered
"ohkay mrs purvi you fainted in hospital thats because you didnt eat much but apko is state mai aisa ni karna chai ziada dehan daina chai" dr said and i looked at her quite confused
"mujhy kia howa hai dr?" i asked confused
the dr smiled
PRESENT
arjun was listening to purvi with full concentration
"tumhay kia howa hai purvi? what did the dr said" arjun asked with concern
purvi went and picked up her purse nd came back to where arjun was standing ,purvi took out a paper and gave it to arjun, arjun with shivering hands took it and opened it reading it carefully, after reading it he looked at purvi with a dumb expression, and arched his eye brows not taking in with whatever written on the paper, arjun read it again, then re-read it again, asking from his eyes that whether whatever is written in the paper is true or not? purvi nodded and than purvi was in arjuns arm and arjun was laughing loudly and rotating around with purvi in his arms
"arjun mujhy neechay utaro pagal hogye ho" purvi said
"sorry sorry sorry sorry " arjun said
"is it true? i dnt believe it baby? " arjun asked and then went on bed with shoes and purvi opened her mouth to protest but arjun was not in his senses
"arjun control"
"purvi you" he paused "u r pregnant? u r gng to be a mother? nd i am gng to be a father? u mama nd me papa? really? oh GOD our kid? i dnt believe this i just dnt"
arjun hold purvi and shaked her a little his happiness knows no bounds
"its true arjun" purvi said holding her tears up, she never have seen arjun this happy "i am gng to be a mama nd u r gng to be a papa"
"we are pregnant?" arjun said while purvi laughed
arjun engulfed purvi into a hug and kissed her forehead
"chupaya ku baby"
"chupaya kaha arjun? "
"toh btaya ku ni? chup chap dnt khati rai? its the biggest news forvus hum aai baba dad aaji sbko bataty "
"arjun i am 2 months pregnant" purvi said slowly and arjun understood what she meant "humari shadi ko abhi 2 months howay hai, that night arjun when we were togeather, mai ni chahti thi ky humaray baby pay ovi ya koi bhi sawaal uthaye even though we are married tbhi mai tumsay discuss karna chahti thi hum sbko kia kahay gay? "
arjun smiled"yahi kay u r a 3 weeks pregnant jaan ji, bohat saray babies 8th month mai bhi born hotay hn, its between us, we are married nd nt answerable to anyone, so no one actually needs to know"
purvi hugged arjun again
"arjun?"
"hmmm?"
"we are having a baby"
"yes yes purvi we are having our baby"
than again arjun picked purvi up and rotate smiling and this time she blushed
"our symbol of love " arjun laughed
ONE WEEK LATER
the news of arvi baby went everywhere dk was beyound happy of being a grand father so does archana sulochna they cared for purvi as a princess no work nothing, only bed rest , while the deshmuks were not that happy except teju who was happy on being a masi. ovi acted mad nd broke and destroyed her room in frustration her only motive was to destroy arvi.. manav didnt said much but as he always felt connected to purvi deep down he was happy for her..
arjun was the happiest , he use to come home early and bring toys already for his baby on which purvi said "abi say ku? " arjun googeled about being a father and asked dk about being a good father. purvi was blessed with arjun and dk as a family she was just as happy as she could be praying to always keep her family like this.
next day was karva chauth and arjun and purvi bikkered about purvi shouldnt fast as it was not good for the baby but purbi with her emotional atyachar manao fi arjun on if nything happens she would definitely eat something and arjun agreed, while arjun too did fast for purvi and purvi just cant stop herself from loving this man more and more.. arjun went to office do his work as it was karva chauth he gave half day to all but worked till evening , he was alone working and was done
"time to go would be papa" arjun said himself
arjun took his bag and went to open his cabin door but it was locked, arjun got confused and tried to open it again but no luck, as the door was of thick glass arjun saw ovi standing the other side holding the key of the doorin her one hand and holding the his mobile on the other hand smirking
