The trailer of Shuddh Desi Romance has already proved to be a hit among the media and fans. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, this rom-com stars Ishaqzaade actress Parineeti Chopra and Sushant Singh Rajput, of Kai Po Che fame.
The makers recently launched a new fun song from the film titled,Tere Mere Beech Mein. The song has been sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and Mohit Chauhan with music by Sachin-Jigar and lyrics by Jaideep Sahni.
The song is not at all close to the famous love track Tere mere beech mein from Kamal Haasan and Rati Agnihotri's Ek Duje Ke Liye(1980) but this one is a fun number.
The video starts off with Parineeti and Sushant sharing a few romantic scenes. It also portrays a humorous side to the story, showing the couple sharing a bathroom, getting facials and manicures together.
One of the scenes also depicts Parineeti dancing in a towel and next in one of Sushant's shirts. While some of the clips from the trailer as well as the song may seem a bit bold, the essence of the film seems fun and romantic.
However, the couple looks adorable as they do some fun dance steps.
Produced by Yash Raj Films, the story is said to be a love triangle and also features new kid on the block, Vaani Kapoor.
Overall, Shuddh Desi Romance seems promising, especially the crackling chemistry between Sushant and Parineeti.

The on-screen lovebirds are shown going about doing their day to day activities together – be it washing linen, romancing in the bathroom (ahem!), grooming themselves and even cooking. To sum it up, romance pervades all their daily tasks.
The chemistry of the duo is very fresh and that spark is very much evident through and through. No doubt, this is one star couple that is worth looking forward to in the coming years.
