@TM, I agree ...we like Purvi because inspite of the horrible blunders she has made, all of those were errors with good intentions! As long as intentions are noble and unselfish, its possible to like the character inspite of 100 mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes in life, some have grievous consequences, some have good ones...like Archu Manav reunited because of Purvi's sacrifice was a good consequence. I also wish she stops thinking abt others and concentrates on her own happiness and Pari's future.

Basically people like her because shes a simple girl who loves her family, especially her adoptive mother to bits, she will do everything possible for her mother and her family. Thats what people appreciate because shes not selfish and self serving like some other characters in the show.

I mean why would the Indian middle class viewers identify with Ovi? She ditched her husband and sasural, modelling in Canada, pretending to be single, shes partying, drinking like an alcoholic! Even though Arjun went all the way to Canada to salvage the marriage, she sent him away! Definitely all qualities of a vamp!

Whereas whatever mistakes Purvi has made, shes paying for them dearly, outcast from family and K house, living in a kholi, even Onir turning out to be a deceiver (from all appearances)...shes the all suffering heroine no doubt.

Yep! I think this is arjun and ovi case! He ignored her every second and just gave her a spot in his bed in a pity way. Otherwise he always ignored her as much as possible. That's why he would always be at work and never give her time... She was so awful! Who would want to be around such a negative human being who only reeks of only selfishness and hate? And it's not even sometimes, it's always whenever she came on screen! I'm so happy she's gone though! I wonder when the divorce papers will be filed or if they ever will be or have they already been sent& signed? Arjun needs to cut this noose around his neck already and sign the papers ASAP!
