The first look teaser promo of the upcoming rom-com movie 'Shuddh Desi Romance' is out in stores, and going by the look, it's a pure desi version of Bollywood.

'Shuddh Desi Romance' stars the powerhouse performer Sushant Singh Rajput, who enthralled everybody with his enjoyable performance in 'Kai Po Che', along with the full of life and bubbly Parineeti Chopra, who had won a National Award for her performance in 'Ishaqzaade'.

The teaser promo shows bits and pieces in a uniquely edited sequences of the light and fun romance carried out by the couple Raghu (Sushant) and Gayatri (Parineeti), along with the unusual Doordarshan's old song played in the backdrop by Film Division (Government of India), titled as 'Ek Chidiyaa... Anek Chidiyaa...' As evident from the small stints in the teaser here, Rajput and Chopra are all set to give Bollywood a new decadent romance to rejoice about.

Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film is directed by Maneesh Sharma of Band Baaja Baarat fame, and is written by Jaideep Sahni of Chak De India fame. 'Shuddh Desi Romance' is a romantic comedy and is set to hit the screens on 13th September, 2013.
