Is Gautami Kapoor the new Archana of Pavitra Rishta?

Speculations have been rife over who will step into the shoes of Ankita Lokhande to play the new Archana - a grandmother - in Pavitra Rishta. We can tell you that after considering several names, producer Ekta Kapoor has finally decided to rope in actress Gautami Kapoor, actor Ram Kapoor's wife, for the role.

Informs a source associated with Pavitra Rishta, "Ankita doesn't want to age any further on screen. Ever since, we have been looking out for someone who can replace her in the show. Gautami will now play Archana."

It is to be remembered that Gautami had also replaced actress Smriti Irani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Thi, after the latter reportedly had a fallout with producer Ekta Kapoor. This is the second time she will replace an actress in a show. Both Ekta and Gautami remained unavailable for comment.

wat a combo😆😆😆,,hiten gautami,,,she replaced smriti but that didnt work and smriti again played tulsi ..

gautami hiten they just dnt look good together in my opinion

Cannot blame her because it looks like there is going to be another big leap where Archana will be shown to age even more ..

It is crazy , leaps have totally killed this show but Ekta wants more ...😆
