Dear Sairina and all the others who have commented about the old Balaji serials,

I really want to thank all of you, for, not having watched any of the serials mentioned here, I had no idea that Ekta's track record in PR is in fact far better, and even more conventional than earlier! I now thank God for small mercies, that I did not end up watching the Prerna-Anuraag-Mr.Bajaj saga.

This briefing also makes me feel far more tolerant towards PR!😉 No one here has as yet got married twice (except Manav and Archana to each other),there is so far only one illegitimate baby, and no one had, as yet, murdered anyone else. Not bad!

Primarily, it was a youthful love story with a background of music.

It ended within 1 and a half year so they didnt drag any of the tracks like PR which is going on forever.

Of course there was drama, melodrama, separations, misunderstandings, murder, revenge...because these are necessary to move the plot forward.

Plot indeed moved very fast, heroine only married twice, hero married only heroine...the main leads refused to play mom and dad to teenagers so Ekta was forced to end the show on a happy note with hero heroine and their 3 little kids! KYPH was a superb show! The best by Ekta so far!😃

I am not dragging the show or making negative comments on it. Just as an example of EK story I used it. Even I read the story on wiki and was not aware of the show until I read it. If you took my comment in a wrong way I cant help but say sorry.
