Love can be of many kinds, and it is not always red hot passion that lasts. I do not know if Purvi will ever come to love Onir or not, but the interesting thing is that she now knows that
he loves her. That is now an additional factor on top of the burden of gratitude, and the thing to be noted about this factor is that she does not feel hassled by it,but smiles with reminiscent pleasure when she remembers it.
The way she hugged Onir was remarkable and quite unlike her, and I noted that when she finally broke loose, she did not seem flustered or embarrassed at all, but smiled at him. I think the CVs wanted to make a point to the viewers with all this.
I do not feel that Purvi thinks that Arjun has moved on with Ovi. Women know these things, and after taking one look at his permanently woebegone face, no woman would think that he had fallen out of love with her. But to Purvi the only thing that has mattered and still matters is that Ovi should be at peace with the marriage, and even if she k nows that Arjun still loves her,. it will not make the least difference to her.
For the same reason, this realisation will not change what she feels for Onir, because the foundation for that relationship, whether it is one of love in the traditional sense or not, is quite different, and it is exceptionally strong.
What I could not understand is Arjun wanting, at least to start with, to reveal the truth to the whole family. Even assuming that he cares nothing for the impact on Ovi, if he had any commonsense, would he not realise the damaging consequences for both Purvi and Pari? For Purvi has clearly no intention of marrying him even the path were clear. Her self image would never permit her to do any such thing.
I also find it very strange and distasteful that till now, Arjun has not been shown grieving for his other dead child, even in passing. Does the death of that child of his mean nothing to him? What sort of father is this? And today he is talking to Purvi's legally wedded husband about how he cannot forget Purvi. The CVs have really destroyed the character of my poor boy completely.

After all she is portrayed as the type of person who feels obligated to someone if they do good for her. Like what she did to arjun for archana's happiness.
I also wonder if she finds out that arjun still loves her deeply if her feelings for onir will fade away. As it is now, she like arjun thinks that they have both moved on.

If you will bear with me, I had always felt that it was Arjun, whom I had a very soft corner for at that time, who did the loving, while Purvi let herself be loved. For her, as Jyothi once wrote in a very funny post, Arjun came in around No.11 in her priority list, after Archana, Manav, Sulochana, Ovi. Teju, Soham and a few others.
As for being unhappy, I do not think she would be at all happy reunited with Arjun unless it had the approval of her parivaar, Do you really see that being forthcoming if the truth is revealed?
Then again, Arjun is clearly still miserable, but it does not at all seem to be the same with her. She might be unhappy about Pari not being with her, but not about being separated from Arjun. She is hardly shown reminiscing about their times together, and today the way she ran and hugged Onir in public was quite startling. She might not be in love with Onir, but it seems as though she is beginning to care a lot for him, she sees him and herself as a unit, and she is obviously completely comfortable with him now. This is not a bad foundation for a happy marriage.
