Yes, we are referring to Nikhil Adavani, whose birthday bash turned out to be a star-studded affair.

Nikhil is considered to be a director who is endowed with the right vision and potential. Whether it the way he treats a subject, execute his ideas or know the pulse of movie buffs, Nikhil is one of the most bankable filmmakers.

Born in Mumbai, the filmmaker's father has a pharmaceutical business and his mother is an advertising professional. 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' (2003), 'Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute To Love' (2007), 'Chandni Chowk To China' (2009), 'Patiala House' (2011), 'Delhi Safari' (2012) and 'D Day' (2013) are some of the films he has directed.

As expected, Nikhil celebrated his birthday in style. Several stars like Arjun Rampal, Irffan Khan, Karan Johar, Sushant Singh Rajput, and many more attended the do.

The director recently received the National Award for his stereoscopic 3D animation film 'Delhi Safari'. The film which was released on October 19, 2012, won the award of the Best Animation Film.

"The feeling of winning such an illustrious award for a film I so deeply believed in is unexplainable! I'm glad the people involved with this film are finally getting their due credit through this award and hopefully this will be a take off point for the extremely talented animation industry that our country has," Nikhil had said.
