Part 12 -

Arjun takes his tab in his hand and blankly stares at the message of Angel..No..No...not angel she is Purvi or his Chipkali. He caresses the screen of the tab which has Purvi's message. After lot of quarreling in his mind he hits the reply button and starts typing.

Dear Angel,

I can very well understand your situation. I know its very difficult when dreams break and when special people in your life leaves you and go. But for that it doesn't mean we should stop dreaming. Hain Na. Listen Angel, I can feel what you are going through but I would just suggest you one thing don't stop dreaming. You never know when your dreams come true. 😊

Yours Nick.

Writing this message for Nick's Angel, Arjun hit the send pm button and switched off his tab. He laid down on the pillow and closed his eyes. Tears rolled down from his eyes too. He thought, "Chipkali this world is really very small. I didn't knew that the long lost BFF ArVi will meet like this online and see na your are crazy about your best friend only. Chipkali I am sorry that I am hurting you by not telling you my identity. But I promise Arjun will never hurt Purvi. I will see that your dreams come true. I promised you this when I left my best friend alone and went to US and now its time to fulfill this promise. Purvi here I came back and this time I will see that you don't get hurt again by me."

With this thought he was again dragged into his past memory.

FLASHBACK STARTS

It was the worst day in Arjun's life. As he lost his mother on this day. At DK Mansion last rituals of Aashna's death were being performed. DK, Manav and small Arjun were sitting on one side of Aashna's dead body. Whereas Purvi, Archana and other lady members on the other side. DK was crying and Manav was consoling him. Arjun was just staring blankly at Aashna's body. He was not able to cope up with this news of his mother's death. He wasn't even crying. Little Purvi saw his best friend like this and she too couldn't control herself. She then got up and went and sat besides Arjun. She kept her hand on Arjun's lap and tried to divert him and make him realized the situation. But Arjun shrugged her hand giving an angry look to her and went in his room. Manav, DK, Archana and Purvi saw him going. DK went behind him and after explaining him he brought Arjun down again to perform the final rituals. But still Arjun didn't cried.

Days passed by and everyone were trying to come out of the biggest grief. DK started becoming normal the person who was more affected was none other than Arjun. He started behaving strangely or you can say he was not allowing himself to come out of this grief. Purvi tried to do lots of things to make him happy but he didn't. In the process of doing this Purvi always felt hurt as Arjun used to talk to her rudely.

One day -

Purvi - Hey Chimpanzee did you do your homework?

Arjun was sitting on his writing table looking at the picture of Aashna hidden in his book when Purvi came in his room.

Purvi - Chimpanzee I asked you something...

Purvi again asked him with a smile on her face and lots of eagerness.

Arjun (getting angry and closing his book) - Don't you have the manner to knock the door before coming in.

He shouted on Purvi for the first ever time like this. Purvi got very scared and she ran away from there crying. But Arjun's face didn't showed any concern for his Chipkali.

While Purvi was running she bumped into DK. DK saw her crying and stopped her and asked her the reason. At first Purvi tries to save Arjun from getting any scolding from DK but on DK's insistence she told everything.

And that was the day which ended BFF ArVi's friendship. Or was it day the which brought in the new light by ending friendship and starting their new phase in their life. Yes after that day DK sent Arjun to US at his aunt's place so that Arjun could get over his mom's death. When Arjun was leaving India, Purvi cried a lot. She even requested DK not to send him away. Not to send his best friend away. But DK convinced her saying that he will come back soon but right now he needs to go. Purvi didn't wanted his Chimpanzee to go. But Arjun was not even concerned for once getting separated from his Chipkali. Because his mom's death grief has made him like this. He forgot every other relationship along with his mom leaving him. He even forgot his precious friendship with his Chipkali.

FLASHBACK ENDS

From that day slowly and steadily Purvi too forgot Arjun or she forgot Chimpanzee. Arjun too forgot his Chipkali. Both grew up. Arjun came back but still he had qualms over DK for sending him to US and drifting him apart from his homeland or from the house where his mother lived. Therefore he never went back to that house. He came back and joined Bollywood Industry. With one picture he became superhit. Purvi started liking this hero Arjun and slowly she didn't knew that her craziness for Arjun would raise so much.

And today Purvi again remembered his Chimpanzee. She didn't knew that his superhero Arjun is his Best Friend Forever Chimpanzee. After reading the reply from Nick she switched off her laptop and got up from bed. She opened her cupboard and took out that doll which her Chimpanzee gave her as a gift. Seeing the doll a smile crept up on her face and she embraced that doll in her arms. Tears rolled down her eyes remembering all those moments she spent with Chimpanzee or Arjun. Remembering that she used to call Arjun as Chimpanzee made Purvi giggle a bit. She kept the doll back again and went near the window of her room and stared at the glowing moon blankly.

Arjun too got up from his bed. He wiped the tears that were flowing remembering all the moments he spent with Purvi. He thought, "Purvi even though I haven't seen in these many years but I know my Chipkali would be the best looking girl in this world. Because with this past month whenever I chatted with you being Nick I have atleast known that you have the best heart and you are the sweetest person in this world and not that rotelu Chipkali which you were when we were small." This thought made him smile a bit. He too went near the window of his room and he too started staring at the moon that was glowing in the sky.

The moon was as if knowing that today is the most special day in the life of these two people whose destiny will very soon will write a really good thing for them.

Arjun thought, "Aaye Chipkali your Chimpanzee is coming to meet you soon"

Purvi thought, "This time I wont let Chimpanzee go away from Chipkali"

With this thought both smiled looking at the moon.
