Loved your analysis nikita...exactly my thoughts!
SPOILER ALERT-

I wish ishaan had not died.Like you,even i was very sad and angry about the climax.I was trying to figure out the need to kill ish in the end...couldn't the message of hope and brotherhood be delivered by keeping him alive?...Maybe,had the ending not been what it is,the movie wouldn't have been so emotional...i guess we wouldn't have been so touched had ish been alive...in this way,ishaan comes out as the hero of the movie...I agree with your points completely,but i wished the movie had ended on a happier note...though i loved the film!😊
