This is my first post on this forum. Have been following this show on and off. But this particular baby swapping track is so disgusting that I could not stop myself from commenting.
I have a question for EK. Why is Purvi so stuck on God mode? Who gave her the right to take decisions for others, to manipulate their lives and make them dance to her tunes, all in the name of sacrifice? EK and her band of script writers surely have a rather skewed understanding of the word.
In the name of sacrifice, Purvi has foisted her illegitimate child on the wife of the child's father. I am sorry but this is just galling. I hold no brief for Ovi. I mean, I don't think any right thinking person could hold a brief for any of these characters or, for that matter, any of EK's characters after a point. But, this is just too much!
Does Ovi not have the right to know about Arjun and Purvi's past indiscretion? Does she not have the right to decide whether she wants to save her marriage by adopting her husband's illegitimate child? Who is Purvi to make this decision for her? At least the earlier agreement, while it was ridiculous, was mutual. Arjun was the only one left out in the cold then. But here, in one stroke, Purvi has taken decision making out of the hands of Ovi, Arjun and also the baby. Three lives will now be played out to suit her skewed notions of happiness and sacrifice.
