Kalapi, these people do not once put themselves in Ovi's shoes and see it from a marriage view point. Like you said, it speaks volumes about their psyche and thinking. In this day and age, I shudder to think that youngsters are ready to kill in the name of love. In that case, Ovi is way better than them, simply because she did not want to kill purvi or harm her or kill other people and other's babies to get her love. She went practical and put forward a deal which the idiotic lovers gave in to. This Arjun-Purvi are no heer-ranjha or romeo-juliet who died for each other. They are lallus and cowards who surrendered on one tricky situation. This love is so lallu. Ovi's love may have been an obsession earlier, but now it is genuine unconditional love.. she NEVER gave up on arjun even in a loveless marriage. She has not left him in the doldrums nor surrendered him to Purvi out of helplessness. She holds on to whatever little attention he gives and multiplies it. She respects his work ethics and does not once interfere with it or cause issues. She even faked happiness for 6 months for his social and business status in parties.

But the young audience doesn't see it that way. They only want the show to run on stupid rain songs and faltu physical chemistry for life. Babies and marriages be damned. I will see if Arjun-Purvi's rain dances bring TRP's forever, especially after walking over their respective spouses and breaking up families. I really really want to see. If they started off PR as a mature husband-wife story, I do want them to respect that basic meaning of PR and show what is right, instead of catering to 25% of population.

V nice post Kalapi. I especially agree with the things I have marked in blue. It amazes me to see the extent ppl go just to see some lovey dovely scenes that too about the fictitious characters. May god bless them.
