That's what I love about. Unlike the other male characters, he is firm in his decisions. He stands by it. Even when Purvi left Kolkata, he was tough with her.

I heard Onir gave Purvi a reality check! Good for him, she seriously needs to wake up and smell the tea leaves and stop acting foolish. Purvi is only concerned about herself, that's what I have gathered from watching this show over the last few months. She only thinks about herself.

And LOL at the person tweeting that Onir and Ovi should get together. I had hoped that Onir and Ovi would get together because I'm not an Arvi fan anymore but I like Onir with Purvi and Arjun with Ovi. I think Onir and Ovi are the most sensible people in their respective relationships and they do display a good jeeju-sali relatonship. He understands her and made Arjun understand Ovi as well. I like the idea of Ovi and Onir as friends but Onir is great for Purvi. Now I just hope that he keeps Purvi in check and makes his own decisions and doesn't let Purvi influence him.

Oh yes he did give her a reality check. She kept whining that her daughter is sick and all. That too in front of the entire family. I won't be surprised if Ovi gets a little insecure. In my opinion she is entitled to that.
Purvi needs to stop her so called sacrificing act. It really ain't helping anyone in anyway.

I agree with you. Onir and Ovi are the only two sensible characters in the show. At least till now. I really do hope to see some Jeeju-Salli bonding between Onir and Ovi.
By now Onir has learnt to handle her. This was mentioned by him when he met Arjun in Kolkata.

On a side note, I would really love to see Shruti aka Ovi in a lead role in a sensible show :)
