TV stars Rithvik Dhanjani and Ragini Khanna have been roped in to host Zee TV's India's Best Dramebaaz. Thrilled to be a part of yet another Zee show, the Pavitra Rishta actor says, "My role in Pavitra Rishta has been widely appreciated and the show remains one of the top-rated shows. So, when they approached me to host India's Best Dramebaaz, it was difficult for me to turn down their offer. I am getting an opportunity to interact with so many talented children and the audience will get to see a more easy-going, fun-loving aspect of my personality."
Ragini too feels that the show will be a fun experience. "After my stint on Star Ya Rockstar, I am back for a second inning on Zeeand this time as the host of a show that's bound to be really high on its cuteness quotient. We're talking about kids here… you can only imagine the amount of fun we will have through the making," says Ragini.
A new talent-based reality show with a unique concept, it will have children aged betweenfive and 12 years undergo a series of tasks and challenges that will groom them as actors and test their creativity, spontaneity and acting ability. And judging their talent will be Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi, filmmaker Anurag Basu and actress Sonali Bendre.
Ragini Khanna shot to fame with her winsome smile and her confident, outspoken roles across a host of television shows. She's back this time, with a new show, India's Best Dramebaaz. Since Valentine's Day is round the corner, we ask her if there is a special someone she wants to talk about. The actress replies, "Yeh raaz ko raaz hi rehne do. When I decide to get married, I will play the dhol and inform everyone about my decision."
Moving on to work matters, Ragini and Ritvik are all set to host India's Best Dramebaaz. An ecstatic Ragini informs, "I was skeptical about how it will be working with big names like Vivek Oberoi, Sonali Bendre and Anurag Basu, but then I realised they are the sweetest people I have ever met. I did not shoot with Vivek for long but I really bonded well with Sonali and Anurag da. Ritvik is a sweet boy, we have been having these cute arguments since our Jhalak Dikhla Jaa days and you will see the same chemistry here."
However, Ragini admits that anchoring does not come naturally to her. She says, "Anchoring is tricky, but I love accepting challenges. I always accept something that I am not comfortable doing and then work on bettering myself as I need some motivation to be on the sets."
So does Ragini intend to get back to a daily soap anytime soon? "I am itching to act in a new show but the story matters most to me. I would rather wait and say a 'yes' to the right show," she says.
