Chapter 36 –

Arjun is in his room and crying. Arvi suddenly bargs in with a book in her hand. Arjun sees her and immediately wipes his tears. Arvi notices this. She goes near Arjun.

Arvi – Papa what happened? You are crying? Why?

Arjun (clearing the lump in his throat and trying to smile) – No doll I am not crying.

Arvi (taking a tear drop from Arjun's cheeks) – Than what is this Papa?

Arjun – This…Doll actually a dirt went into my eyes that's why…

Arvi – Oh…(looking at the tear drop on her finger)..Hey you tear do not come in my Papa's eyes otherwise I will not leave you….

Arjun burst into laughter seeing this.

Arvi – See Papa the tears vanished and now you are smiling..

Arjun – You are truly my angel doll…

Saying this he hugs her.

Arjun (breaking the hug) – Say doll..What happened...Why you here..

Arvi (patting her head) – Oh I forgot…Papa homework…

Arjun – So today you have letter in homework that's why you need papa's help hain na…

Arvi – Yes papa…You know na I hate letters.

Arjun – Yes I very well know that you hate letter and loves drawing. But doll you have love letters also to study. Hain na.

Arvi – Yes Papa I am trying but they are so fishy…Yuckss..I hate them…

Arjun sees her expressions and again smiles at her.

Arjun – Come I will make you learn

Saying this he took Arvi in his lap and holding her hands started making her study letters.

Arjun – Ok so first we have 'A'…..A for…..

Arvi – A for Arvi…

Arjun smiles at this…

Arjun – Yes A for Arvi…

With this he started making her study letters and now reached till 'O'

Arvi – O for….Papa what is O for….

Arjun (without wasting time) – O for Ovi….

Arvi got confused and turned her head upwards to look at Arjun. Arjun immediately realized what he just said. He thought, "This Ovi has still an impact on my mind. How much I try to avoid this girl don't know why she comes in our lives again. This time I am not letting her come back in our lives."

Arjun was brought out from the world of his thoughts by Arvi's voice.

Arvi – Papa who is Ovi….

Arjun (didn't knew what to reply to her question) – Arvi she is no one….Its just a name…That's it…

Arvi – Ok. Now next 'P' for

Arjun – P for what Arvi…

Arvi – Yes P for Papa….No…No…P for Purvi…Yes P for Purvi my mumma

She got so happy by this. Arjun seeing her happiness to got happy.

Arjun – Achcha Doll..Papa needs your help….

Arvi immediately left Arjun's lap and faced him

Arvi – What help Papa?

Arjun – I want to surprise your mumma.

Arvi (gets excited) – Woww…Papa you want to surprise Mumma. Just like me

Arjun – Yes Doll I want to surprise you mumma. Will you help me in that.

Arvi – Of course Papa.

Arjun – Thank you doll. But you would not tell your mumma about this.

Arvi – Papa I am not like you. You revealed my secret but I wont.

Arjun – Thank Doll and sorry for that.

Arvi – Its ok Papa. But what's the surprise

Arjun – Doll I will tell you about this tomorrow. Ok.

Arvi – Ok Papa.

Arjun got happy and was about to kiss Arvi on her cheeks but…

Arvi – Stop Papa. No kissing me now. I am going….

Saying this she grabbed her book and pencil and ran from there. Arjun again laughed seeing this. He thought, "Doll I don't know without you what would have I done to myself in the last four years. You are the one that brought a new life in me and made me smile again. Your smile is my smile and your tears are my tears. Bas the only problem is now Purvi. I know she is upset. But I had to do this to her just to make her realize that we both love her and don't need anybody else in our lives now."

Arvi was on her way to her room when she passed from near Purvi's room. Purvi saw her going.

Purvi – Arvi Baby!!!

Arvi (stopping and going inside her room) – Yes mumma you called me…

Purvi – Yes Baby please come near me na.

Arvi goes near Purvi and sits besides her…

Purvi – Baby I want your help

Arvi – Say na Mumma what do you want.

Purvi – Baby I want to surprise your Papa.

Arvi was left awestruck hearing this and her mind started wandering.

Purvi – What happened baby will you help you mumma na.

Arvi (stuttering) – O..of…course Mumma..i will surely help you…

Purvi – Thank You so much baby…

Arvi – By the way mumma when do you wanna surprise Papa

Purvi – Day after tomorrow…

Arvi was again awestruck

Purvi – But promise me that….
Arvi – Ya mumma I know don't worry I wont tell Papa anything…

Purvi got surprised seeing how Arvi understood what she was about to say…

Arvi – By the way what's the surprise

Purvi – I will tell you tomorrow…

Arvi (now sighed) – Ok…Then can I go now..

Purvi nodded positively

Arvi then left room with thoughts running in her mind, "Papa wants to surprise Mumma and Mumma wants to surprise Papa….Both need my help….both will tell me their surprise tomorrow….Oh My God Arvi Darling now what will you do darling….now whom will you help and when will you help….and if get confused in both their surprises then….Oh god help me please…what will this small little girl do now…."

Thinking this she sighed and walked towards her room….

Episode 37 –

Purvi is sitting a her room and reading magazines. But her concentration is only outside and her eyes after every few minutes are looking outside and waiting for Arjun to come.

She thinks, "I know Arjun I have hurt you a lot. I want to say sorry to you. But for that you have to come to me as I cant walk still. I don't do know how will I convince you." These moments of waiting were making her sad more.

Tujhse hi toh mili hai rahat
Tu hi toh meri hai chahat
Tujhse hi toh judi zindagi
Teri yaadein hain
Kuch adhoori
Saans aadhi hai
Kuch hai poori
Aankhon mein hai
Kaisi yeh name

With this tears filled her eyes and she was about to cry but there Arjun comes with the dinner plate in his hand and his face giving an angry look to her. His this expression brings a sweet smile on her face and she thinks, "So this is my Khadoos Kirloskar and I love him." Arjun sees her smiling and also wants to join in what she is thinking and is very much eager to talk to her but stops himself as he wants to teach her a lesson. He then lays the bed table and keeps the dinner plate on it signalizing Purvi to have her dinner.

After keeping the plate he then fills the glass of water from the jug kept on the side table and keeps that too besides her plate and turns back to leave.

Purvi holds his wrist and stops him.

Mera mann
Kehne laga
Paas aake na tu door ja..
Chhoone de
Honth tere
Zara saanson mein
Apni basa

Arjun turns behind and sees Purvi holding his wrist and again gives an angry look at her. But Purvi doesn't leave him. He now shrugs his hand off angrily which loosens Purvi's grip and forcing her to leave Arjun's hand. His this action disheartens Purvi and she looks downs and starts having her dinner with tears in her eyes. Arjun sees this and he too becomes sad but still stops himself going near Purvi and soothing her only because he made a stupid statement saying that he wont talk to her.

Arjun thinks, "What a fool am I. When I cant stay away from her then why I said all these things to her. Its said right only that anger can lead you to make mistakes and see you made a mistake and now you are only suffering and making her suffer too."

Thinking this he looks at Purvi lovingly. Purvi all the while is having her dinner. Suddenly she looks up at Arjun but Arjun just rolls his eyes which where staring at her constantly and looks here and there. Purvi doesn't get anything on Arjun's such a behavior.

After Purvi did her dinner, Arjun took the plate and glass in his hand and moved out. Purvi now couldn't control herself and starts crying and tears rolls down from her cheeks.

Purvi thinks, "I am capable of that only. Arjun's getting miffed with me is very fair. But atleast he should have spoken to me. I am sorry Arjun"

With this thought she went to sleep.

Arjun comes in his room angrily. He thinks, "I am sorry Purvi. I am sorry for making you cry. I promised you that I wont make you cry. But still I made you cry. I love you Purvi."

With this Arjun moves near the window of his room and starts glancing the moon. A cool breeze touches his face making him feel fresh. He then looks down and sees a couple walking late night in the streets hand in hand. The lady is pregnant and her husband is taking good care of her. This brings a smile on his face and he remembers the days when Purvi was pregnant

Arjun's flashback –

Purvi is six months pregnant and Arjun and Purvi are walking on the streets and Arjun has held her hand.

Purvi – Pata hai Arjun its said that walking is good for both mom and the baby.

Arjun – Ya but a little not too much.

Purvi – So I am walking little only na.

Arjun – Achcha and the whole day you move from here and there in the house. What's that called?

Purvi made faces with what Arjun's said.

Arjun – You know by this my babies get tired.

Purvi (with an 'o' expression) – Your babies. Arent they my babies too…

Arjun (giving a smirk look) – They are but they will more be attached to their father only.

Purvi (hitting his hand) – Achcha…so you married me just to produce your babies……

Arjun (getting awestruck on what she said) – Now where did that came from.

Purvi – I know very well. All mens are one and the same. They don't need a wife but just a machine to produce their babies. And you too also wish the same only na….

Arjun( making her face him) – Purvi today you said this things. Don't you ever think about this again. If I love my babies na (saying he keeps his hand on her stomach) then I love you the most in this world

Saying this he just takes her lips in his and starts kissing her…..

Mera mann... Kehne laga...
Pass ake na tu door jaa...
Choone de... Hoonth tere...
Zara sason mein apni basa...

Slowly their subtle kiss starts to become passionate as Purvi too starts enjoying the moment.

Suddenly Purvi breaks their kiss and holds her stomach and says 'Ouch'

Arjun (getting worried hold her stomach too) – What happened Purvi? Are you ok?

Purvi (smilingly) – You know Arjun I think your babies are not liking that their Papa romances with their Mumma in front of them.

Arjun (looks down at her stomach) – Achcha babies. So then should I kiss you.

Saying this he kissed Purvi's stomach and then again looked at Purvi and both started smiling.

With this Arjun comes out of his this sweet memory and tears roll from his eyes.

Mar mein jaun... Mein reh na paun...
Gam judai ka seh na paun...
Hai tujhe pyaar ka vasta...
Teri doori hai kuch adhoori...
Sans adhi hai kuch hai puri...
