I like Onir Purvi Jodi a lot. V mature Jodi with lot of understanding and genuinely care for each other though I think Purvi is going to spoil things. But Onir is shown as a nice, mature person till now kind at heart. Arjun is more self centered and can hurt "N" no. Of people to get the things he want. So for me it's Onir and Purvi.

Purvi baby is not Arjuns, its Onir child. when purvi told him everything she would not hide something like that for Onir if it is not his child.
Purvi and Ovi are not pregnant by one man.
Purvi carries Onir's child
and Ovi is with Arjun's child.

what i feel

people are rather liking the Onir Purvi marraige ...they want her to move on instead of illicit love affairs . Yes the Arujn Purvi love story was accepted by these very viewers but that was a thing of the past . One moves on after marraige , thats real and how it really works .Indian viewers value marraige and don't appreciate flings with sister's husband as something pavitra at all. Purvi will now be criticized for leaving a loving doctor husband in a pregnant state and flouncing off to maika when she did not keep any relations with this very maika when it was convenient to her , for so many months .

the chemistry between Arjun Ovi is zero as nothing of love has been shown up to date . Only fights have been shown for viewer's satisfaction so what chemistry will be there in scream matches . Chemistry will be there when love scenes r shown . CVs were so afraid of taking any chances comercially that they went on showing ARVI scenes in flashback mode to milk the cow . This is the first tentative , hesitant step they have taken ...the Purvi Onir marraige . If it clicks they will develop further storylines and tracks . And people r rather liking it . The moment it is accepted they may show that the baby bonds Arjun and Ovi . I still hope none of the babies die and each couple has a different track .

I agree with you Kool...besides, if the Cvs showed Arjun/Ovi bonding first, it might have backfire, call it sexist, but, since Ovi was shown to put forward the bargain, they romance couldn't have worked, without some rocky road ahead. But, with Purvi/onir - the romance was very subtle, it gelled well. I am sure the actual audience does criticize Arjun as he is shown struck in the past pining for a saali, after impregnating his wife. Yes, chances are after the mega-event of Arjun crying in self-pity (post meeting happy and preggo Purvi), he might be shown moving forward too and bonding with baby and through the baby with Ovi…there are many tracks that can go off from here, which will be different in my POV. Besides, the institution of marriage is upheld this way that again gels well with the conservative audience….so maybe, Purvi is preggo by Onir and not Arjun – that again couldn't work for a conservative middle class storyline…

And i do hope that it is indeed Onir's baby. I do hope that like some unhappy girls ...Ovi bonds with the baby after it is born . Some women detest the unborn baby when they are carrying it but totally change when they actually see it . They take out someone's anger on it when they actually cannot see it but when they see it , reality hits them ...here is someone real . They r first fascinated by it , then curious , then get slowly attached to it . Motherhood does not come suddenly to some teenaged girls . If only they show this ...it will go so well with the Indian viewers . But na ...they wanna show one baby dead . They wanna show illicit love affairs implying that morality is subjective and has no norm . They feel that as 'pavitra' is a word in the title if they show any nonsense it will sell as 'pavitra' ...the viewers will accept it . The truth is , viewers r so tired of seeing a man weeping and that song 'darmiyaan' that they will welcome anything fresh .

I agree with you whole-heartedly with the underlined...I find an over use of recent hindi romantic/sad songs to depict particular scenes that are really boring and unappealing to some 60+ year age group, I know I find those scenes absolutely bakwas...in that wat the Cvs showed a very cute romantic moments that sat well with the audience in general and worked faster ... so we see Purvi/onir pair worked a certain amount of magic within 2 weeks and Onir was giving Arjun tough competition. I felt, the romance was dealt very well, with a certain amount of finesse. In fact, the sad hindi song played in the background was a big disappointment with Onir in yesterday's episode. The instruments were a much better choice, in my opinion. Besides, who really could find crying men appealing that too soon to be a father by his own choice... Arjun appeared absolutely childish and immature - seriously, in my opinion...
