I don't think Ankita will come back to the show now .

Instead of making a big news about her leaving , they have just quietly send her away..

I think there will either be a replacement or something else .

I think anki is nt shown because she is on leave. She went to jaipur, then she went ahm then new year celebration. She is enjoying with sushant

Everyone's favourite Archana of Pavitra Rishta has decided to quit the show that launched her and made her a household name. Actress Ankita Lokhande, who plays Archana, will leave the show in February.

After Sushant Singh Rajput, the original Manav, quit Pavitra Rishta, it's his girlfriend Ankita Lokhande's turn to follow suit. It's heard that the makers are planning another generation leap, and Ankita is not willing to play her part. The leap will show her as a granny, and Ankita thinks she is too young to look and act like a grandmother.

"Ankita is currently serving her notice period, which will end on February 15. There is another generation leap in the offing, which means that Ankita will have to play a grandmother," a source is quoted as saying.

While the production house headed by Ekta Kapoor is trying its best to convince Ankita to stay on, because she is the main and the most pivotal character of the show, according to reports chances are low that the actress will change her mind.

Ankita Lokhande's beau Sushant Singh Rajput too left the show on similar grounds in the year 2011. Sushant wasn't comfortable playing a father to the 20-something actors. Then TV actor Hiten Tejwani was approached to play his character.
