Shravani was so much bashed because of being preggo with the child of the man who she was going to marry and died of an accident. She was bashes and considered not sanskari and so preggo... and of course, that her pregnancy was due to her very asanskari upbringing (translating to having sex before marriage)...So, I am very interested to see Mata Archana's reaction of her Sanskaari ki Dharohar Purvi getting preggo before marriage and then giving up on Arjun when she was well aware of their already established physical relationship at that point. I seriously hope Cvs don't go down that path, because, they are then going to destroy the very essence of the Karanjkar's arrogance for their unique brand of Sanskar.

If you think about it seriously, it always happens like that quite a few times in real life too, right? People hear and listen to those that suit their purpose and need. When u get advice, however well intended it maybe, which is against what they want, it doesnt sink in. Moreover, people like Punni know how to play the game, especially with someone like Ovi, who is insecure and desperate to keep it all together at all costs, it all works very well on them.
