I 100% agree with u, they have made a mockery of relationships.

Wonderful post Abhi re 😊PR was suppose to a show based on love story of two simple humble middle/lower middle class people and to show that love is not only for the rich but can happen to anyone at any point of time.

Manav and Archana started their journey that way and the first six months of the show was the best part of PR and then Ekta decided

"how come this show is so simple without much drama." 🤓

Then came the bandwagon of Ekta goons one after the other starting from Manju,Rasika,evil Savita (not the good one) ,Ajit,Dharmesh,Jaywant,Riya etc etc etc and its still going on.

When the show started I thought this show was about Arman struggle through the day today problems in their life like finance etc sticking together with some Saas - Bahu drama..But naaa it was major Saas-Bahu drama with lot of senseless sacrifices,pathetic love triangles,divorces and so on.

At the end of the day I guess even Ekta is pondering on what exactly is she wants to show through this show.

Was any leaps ever necessary .Why should Arjun-Purvi or anyone be Arman's grown up children.

Cant same Arjun-Purvi /Tej/Ovi come into the show without the leap.Same characters but without leap..Arjun/Purvi/Tej/Ovi and Arman ,other couples including DK-Ashna all helping each other out in some way.

Arjun could have been a new business partner of DK- Manav. Purvi could have been may be a friend of Archu who is well educated and may be meets her in some evening class of learning English or something.They could have shown bonding like how Archana teaches Purvi traditional stuff and Purvi in-turn naunces of business or something so that she could help Manav too.

PR woman could have been portrayed so differently.They could have easily allowed Satish-Varsha to adopt that little girl in the ashram and Arman left with their own kids.In between how the new couple Arjun-Purvi meet fall in love n get married n how Arman support them to get married ,in other sense how Ovi/Tej get connected and how do they find their life partners ..it could have been much better.,,,much much better..But alas hell no..

I am happy Sush left at the right moment but feel very bad for poor Anki..Grandma at 27 is not something you would like to portray on-screen..Poor soul..Too loyal and committed to open up.

Feel bad for Hiten as well - Grandpa is too much

Younger generation cast with a double pregnancy track is just embarrassing for the poor actors to even act.Not sure what Ekta wants to achieve.

At least now they are planning to show a love track for Tej and Sachin which is good..something is better than nothing..Not sure where things will end up..

Jai awesome post...😃 i agree with everything-especially the part where PR first six months were the best but honestly i could take everything they threw at us-let me list fot you my top 5 worse PR track :-

5) Archana taking Manav to court-i think it was one of the most stupidest part...Archana loves Manav too much to drag him to court and insult his work.
4) Varsha's abortion-i still can't take that, god the way Satish was crushed.
3) Archana-Varsha-Soham fiasco-i just couldn't accept the hole i give you Soham and take back..i agree with you, life would be much easier if Varsha just adopted another child...i stopped watching here...In my opinion both Archana and Varsha were wrong here...Archana for gving Soham to Varsha-yes she is her sister but your son should be more important that you sister and don't get me started on Varsha she doesn't deserve to be a mother she took Soham and made him into a gunda and still doesn't want to tell him the truth so that he can get a better life...she is too self-centred to be a mother...a mother thinks about her children not herself..soham would be happier with Manav and Satish...😆
2) Arjun-Ovi marriage- this is number 2 in my list because marriage is something very sacred and they have made a total mockery out of it.
1) Arjun-Purvi-Ovi pregancy-if both of them are pregant with Arjun's child there is just no worse track-moral values are down in the drain...You can come back from 2 to 5 but how to you come back from one...i just can't see it happening...

Exactly Sheetal it is a family program-it should be about moral values instead of double pregancy...hopefully they hear our ranting soon...

Totally agree with your post thru and thru..

They are showing A man getting two sister pregnant.. A girl getting pregnant with her sisters husband, a sister blackmailing her sister into marrying her love. A son getting his mom to divorce his dad and the mother listening.

A barely 27 year old women being a grandma

Girls sleeping with men before marriage

Love turning smart people into stupid people

How does Zee tv allow this stuff to come in their channel?? Cuz really its affecting them if people see P.R. is like this then what wil they think of the other shows?

Avni...very well said...the bolded part-everything now is about money and PR is so succesful-i think their are closing an eye...

Ovi is about 18 years and Purvi about the same. Arjun would be what, about 19/20? PR would be promoting teeange pregnancies and early parenthood, besides all the other immoral values that it would be teaching. How Pavitr would this be? I'll stop watching then. 😡
