Lets forgot for a minute that Savita is Manav's mother but the point here is humanitarian concern..Out of humanity how can you leave a old lady just go off all of a sudden to wander in streets and say you dont care or give a damn on what happens...Where is that basic humanitarian concern gone..You are first a human being and the trait of a human being is to show humanitarian concern..If you dont have it whats the difference between you and a inanimate object..Let Manav be all angry and ignore Savita but at least he should make sure she is safe..What if something had happened to Savita..The way she was walking ,what if she had met with an accident..Thats my point total lack of humanitarian concern from that too Manav was appalling to say the least..Really pathetic from Manav. HE could have called Vandu or someone else..Dont bring her back to the same home ,let her stay with Vandu..At least Manav could have done that..
This was the worst thing to show in PR...Disgusting from Manav ..The little bit of concern shown from Archu was also missing from Manav,at least basic humanitarian concern was expected from him which itself was missing...Shame on this flip-flopping man who is yet to learn the balancing act.I hope Soham blasts Arman in front of everyone in public..Arman deserve the same too from Soham..
Arman cant wash their hands for their mistake for using Soham like a toy on Savita..They deserve their set of trashing and Soham should blast them for the non-sense they have done.

I agree that it is a show worth being called a comedy show and deserves only satires ...i myself said so ...but the seriousness is at a serious issue ...throwing an old person out on the street ...a mother at that .

If the excuse is that the son himself did not ask the mother to leave but the mother left on her own ...sorry i don't buy it .

The son ...insulted the mother horrendously in a public function and told her he was ashamed to be born of her womb in front of a new damad ...a mother can commit suicide at such insult . This when the son could have said Mother i wish to have a word with you in private ...shut the doors behind him and his mother and thrash it out between them .

No one is denying the son his right to be angry . If he feels it was his decision to make and not his mother's and he feels deprived of an important decision making process i can understand it .

But as Jai says where is the basic humanity .

I cited a courtroom scene where Archana was pregnant with the twins where Manav had helped her to get up from the bench as she was big with child although it was she who was doing the case on him .

Had she won the case , the case would have finished him .

Yet he did it out of humanity .

Where is this basic humanity now .

Or does it come only when a young beautiful face is opposite you . Old mothers are rarely beautiful and wrinkled . They also have knobbly hands sometimes and arthritic knees . In Savita's case she is crass too .

The problem is Di that in this soap opera all mothers are treated with disdain and dislike, whether be it by bahus or their own blood children. So if we look at it from another angle then they are saying that in today's society, there is respect for no relationship. Every child on this show has a gripe against his/her mother/ mother- in- law, and the sensible people have done nothing to diffuse this bomb. Therefore I am left to believe that once upon a time, what most of us only whispered in our thoughts, now people are supposedly strewing these sorts of spiels across the public forum of our communities. Instead of writing a ton of romantic crap, maybe this serial should address that. Then it can really be called "PAVITRA RISHTA".
On humanitarian grounds (cause I haven't watched the episode), the least they could have done was have Manav offer his mother a flight back to Canada so that she could live in their old home, or a new home in India. And no matter how angry I am at my mother, there is no way in the world that I would even dream of insulting her outloud, muchless in person or before other people. So I don't know how a character like Manav could be butchered to such an extent. Generally, in Indian soaps, as far as I am concerned, these characters lose their spunk, and self- respect when they most need it, and the wimps gain spines at the most ridiculous moments.

sherma

Savita is responsible for the seperation

Varsha alone is responsible for Soham's loss

Archana has no hand in either of the two mistakes

She is the victim of 2 evil women ...she is such a saint that nothing ...absolutely nothing was her mistake

Is this believable from any angle

then what did we see

Kittya...in this sense ...the way u said it ...its a most realistic show . Coz it shows sons who r slaves of wives and leave their parents or mothers or even identities for girls they have just met . Amen to what u just said .

Since this is 18 years in the future, I have to worry now. Oh boy, I'll be 36 and might have children😕😲. Lemme start praying extra hard so that my life does not become like this.
I wish there was some way to get the CVs to forget about the romance, and deal with the reality. After all, we all can see that none of them is capable of portraying a true embodiment of romantic love.🤢Atleast not on this show.

I belivev what Manav did was wrong whether or not what savita did was right or wrong that is his mother! He has a duty to his mother to take care of her in old age it doesn't matter what she did to him but he neglected his duty as a son. Yes Manav was hurt with what his mother did but he also did wrong," two wrongs don't make a right".
As for Archana being worried for Purvi well she should be Purvi is her daughter... and personally I thought that why isnt teju going also Soham is her bro also?

No one has said Savita is innocent…rather Savita is criticized daily if she does something wrong. But, it isn't fair to blame her for things that she didn't do. I could have been even ok with Manav's very public criticism of Savita, if he had the guts to do the same of the mistakes made by Archana. But, in this regards, he kept a blind eye, conveniently passing all the blames on to Savita. The serial itself showed, very serious difference in opinion between the 2 main leads during the court case which, in my opinion Manav was right to have, as his wife was blaming and trying to prove him fraud in a very public forum for crimes that he never committed…even, if I consider Soham tragedy as an accident, tell me guys in the forum, will you be to live and have a normal relationship with your beautiful wifi dear, who publicly pulls you in a court case and tries to prove you, a criminal and a fraud…Can this single act be forgiven for the 'beautiful looks' of your wifi dear??? I ask here today….because if that fraud was proved (and it wasn't because it is a serial), the guy's career and standing in the society will be permanently compromised forever?? If you were sent to jail twice, will you be happily living with you wifi dear?? Not really, because the police harassment leaves a permanent wedge in the relationship forever; have seen it pretty up close….
