I found the whole idea of Arjun or DK being kidnapped this time rather morbid.

One day, everyone is in acute hysterics about the Tellychakkar article and what it predicted for Arjun-Purvi. The next week, everyone is singing hosannas to the 'positivity' in the engagement episode. The very next day, this dismal prospect is discussed with great relish, irrespective of its implications for Arjun-Purvi.

I just don't get it. If the folks are so bindaas about Arjun being kidnapped, than why hyperventilate😉 like Vesuvius in action about the Tellychakkar 'revelations'?

Shyamala

Oh No Shyamala, discussed with great relish... what is to happen to Arjun Purvi...after the frantic hysterical reaction to the Tellychakkar article...no no no...just a worrisome bunch we are...don't like to see ARVI separated yet again...and again...after they have come together after so much trouble and overcoming so many hurdles...Very hard to enjoy knowing separation is coming for these two, who are the attraction to PR for many of us...and i think it is more preparing ourselves mentally for all sorts of permutations and combinations of the much talked about separation...

Frankly, Janhvi, I think you are going to be an American style mother-in-law, always carping and faultfinding, and never a kind word for your son-in-law-to-be unless you absolutely cannot help it. 😉

If he forgot the ring, why did your ladli also forget hers? ?We, Arjun's mausis, and Archana too, are not of the carping kind, and we understand that youngsters can forget things, and so we are not complaining about your ladli. Neither about the missing ring nor about her incipient Stockholm Syndrome, unless that becomes acute, and then we shall take appropriate corrective measures.😉

Seeing the trend at your end, we of the PAP will brief our boy in advance to beware of you, MIL No.2, and stay as far away from you as he decently can.😉 We will further caution him that his promise at the temple yesterday, that Purvi could visit her mother any time she wanted to, and he too would accompany her occasionally, should apply only to MIL 1, that is to say Archana, who will value him and will cherish him as he deserves to be cherished, like a good Indian mother-in-law!

The way you carry on against him at the slightest opportunity, we are justifiably concerned that if you got Purvi to yourself, you would start putting her against our poor boy.😉 He is too green to understand all this, so we have to look out for him, and for Purvi as well, for once they are married, they will be our joint responsibility!😉😉

We are not inclined to hyperventilate at the idea of Arjun being kidnapped. With a dyed in the wool ruffian like Balan Yadav around and your blue-eyed boy, Vishnu, as his devoted acolyte, anything can happen. But not just yet, I would think, for Balan would not want any panga with the police for a while yet, till the earlier case is disposed of. Bail is subject to good behaviour, and obviously in Vishnu's case includes daily haaziri at the police station. So the father-son duo will be quiet for a bit.

If Arjun or DK is kidnapped now, they will arrest Balan and Vishnu at once, and this time, as that timorous Yadav warns Arjun, there will be no bail. Also, Balan is seriously worried about being stuck for so long in Mumbai, which is unfamiliar and hostile territory for him. He will not start anything here that could make matters worse, and in fact I don't think he will go in for any more apaharans of Mumbai-based victims. He and his son have now been fingered by the police and their greatest asset in Mumbai, their anonymity, is gone for good.

If, despite all this, plus the fact that he and DK are now alive to the kidnapping possibility, Arjun IS kidnapped at some point, he should be resourceful enough to take care of himself and escape at the first opportunity. We do not mollycoddle our boy. I presume you would then want your ladli to tie a belated rakhi to your lalla, and plead for Arjun's freedom. Ugh!!

If DK is kidnapped, you can bet your bottom dollar that he will be exactly as he is now, and not turn a hair.

I personally do not think the CVs will repeat the kidnapping track. This said, I am surprised at the readiness with which such dismal prospects are contemplated and the relish with which they are discussed.Don't you folks have enough material for rona dhona already on your plate - I remember the incredible hysteria last week over Arjun-Ovi-Purvi-Sameer - without going around looking for more?

Janhvi to Janhvi, but you too, Laurie? Talk of Cassandra! She would have a lot to learn from you folks! At times, I wish I could be kidnapped, and thus escape from PR, I really do.

QUOTE=jdronamraju]Jahnvi,

A ring is just a ring, an inanimate object..It is what is in the heart that counts...!! Dont go looking for tokens of commitment...Who else can be more committed than our boy to ur ladli 😉

Miss. Laurie, catch you catching that!! Yes, the mausis better go reminding their ladla not to take that ring off, he never did with Ovi, or else we will start considering it a Freudian slip on his part Now, Jyothi, that is a joke, I know your ladla is the epitome of honor and would never in his wildest dreams think of abandoning my ladli!😆

Well Said Shyamala!!! Couldnt have said it better myself!!! 👏 Good Lord Jhanvi...I can see my beta is going to have a tough time impressing you!!! 😕Though your ladli did indeed try my patience (and I am sure that of his mausis) sorely during her cold and frigid stage...and much to my chagrin...had my ladla behaving in a most uncharacteristic wimpy manner due to his love for her...still I put up with her due to the fact that she was going to be my honewali bahu. His poor mausis endured it too and they are far far outnumbered compared to the number of mausis your ladli has in this forum!!! :) YIKES!!! (come on girl...admit deep down u love him and like he and we have been saying...he is the only one who is right for her) 😊
I found his plea and prayer at the temple...not to have to be separated again for any reason...and the blessings he requested for your ladli so endearing!!! I hope his prayers are granted...

As far as I remember, Varsha specifically mentioned Manav Deshmukh and his parivaar to Vishnu. That is why, when he asks her that question in the hotel room, he speaks of Manav Deshmukh and his parivaar, not of Purvi or Archana.

Vishnu sees the three women in the Karanjkar household, and Archana living with Manav and the other 2 daughters, as one whole. He clearly says that Archana has TWO houses.

Varsha later mentions Purvi and her family as well, when she makes Vishnu promise not to even look at them. So, this should definitely cover Manav, Archana, Sulochana, Purvi, Ovi and Teju.

Arjun might be included by extension as part of Purvi's family-to-be. Vishnu talks of Arjun-Purvi in one breath when he is earlier swearing revenge on them. Even at the temple, when he says he will not hurt them, he speaks to Purvi but of them both.

All this can, of course, be thrown to the winds by the CVs, which is a given!

It sort of looked as if he was only talking about the three ladies who were living there ( Sulochna, Purvi and Archana ) .Even Varsha sort of meant the Karanhkar house at that time .
I could be wrong but it sort of felt this way .
I don't think Arjun and Manav are included in his kassam ( specially if he finds out that Archana and Manav are getting divorced so he is obviously not part of the pariwar ) ...

Varsha,

@red. Vishnu does say that while Purvi is in captivity, though in a different context.

But when he is standing outside the Karanjkar house swearing revenge for his failure, he specifically targets Purvi and Arjun by name, both when speaking to himself and while on the phone to that Yadav. I can understand his rage against Manav and Arjun, but why Purvi? But he holds her specifically responsible for his losing that 3 crore ransom.

Of course after he has given that kasam to your namesake, Purvi is safe as houses.

Janhvi I feel Balan knows more about Manav and even Varsha-Jhumri than what we are led to believe...Why Target Manav Deshmukh out of all those billionairs of the country?

VIshnu defo will be after Arjun now after today's little tiff...Vishnu will keep his promise to momma and not hurt Manav or his family plus He himself told Purvi couple of times that he wont let any one hurt her...So he will keep his promise good...Now Arjun is a whole diff ball game for him..
Lets see what happens..

Dear Abhi,

This is exactly what 'morbid' implies. Why should you go about imagining the worst and going round and round about it if it upsets you even to think about it? And does it help you bear Arjun-Purvi's separation any better if you have Arjun kidnapped instead of Arjun married to Ovi or Purvi to Sameer?

My advice, for whatever it is worth, would be to possess your soul in patience and await developments. Take to pranayaam instead of the permutations and combinations. It will save you a lot of time and your nerves a good bit of wear and tear.

And of course you meant NOT discussed with great relish, so I have inserted the 'not' for you!

Dear Kalapi,

I can see you chortling with glee at the prospect, but I really think he will be exactly the same and he won't turn a hair. In that kind of situation, it is a complete waste of energy to rave and rant against the kidappers, and worse to plead for mercy.

It is better to keep quiet and conserve your energy for any future use. That is what DK, who is stillness personified at all times and does not lack for brains, will do.

Yes thank you Shyamala for the NOT, it is definitely NOT with relish...
This is exactly why you can NEVER get away from us, as Laurie says, because you drill so much sense into us even though we are bordering on morbidity, as u imply...You are not my Obi Wan Kenobi for nothing 😉
Your advice is very valuable..and it would behoove me to and my soul to patiently wait on the sidelines instead of working myself up in a tizzy...I will try i promise...pranayaam it is...😆
