@TALIRA just have a look on this pic. this is parvati's look after kahani ghar ghar ki's 2nd 20year leap. at that time she played 75year old woman .

NOTE:- i have posted this pic just to show that it is not only Archana who looks young after 20 year leap. i DO NOT have any intention to compare actors.

I was having a quick look at this thread ...I don't think this show should be taken seriously at all...Not much in the story line has any logic ...

On Friday , Arjun was shot twice on his leg and he was unconscious for a long time . But as soon as he woke up, the doctor said , you can go home 😆 ( after being shot twice )

and Arjun says that he has to go back to his chawl to go back to work , how on earth does a man who has been shot twice goes back to a chawl where he has to bring water by bucket and hop his way to work ...😆

Now tel lme , where is the logic in that ? But we all accepted it , didn't we ?

Same way we will have to accept 75 year olds looking like a million bucks ( like the above picture ) ..

The objective of Ekta Kapoor's shows are not to make sense or logic but to entertain and make TRPs ...and a glamorous and gorgeous Archana is good for TRPs ...The look of the character is decided by Ekta and her mother and this is how they want their Archana to look like ...

I am not complaning ...I love it . Archana is of the main reason why I watch the show .

Actually all Ekta's shows are unrealistic. In kyunki Baa's age was almost 200 year. but she was fit-fat😆. in kasauti Prerna prepared for her marriage with her lover anurag at the age of 75😆

Agree, the second dance was the best, she was so full of energy too, loved it. 😊 Watched the other one with Rithvik, didn't much like her costume in that but her face looked awesome.

Thank you for the thread Jai, this is a topic that is much debated so thank you for a platform for discussion regarding the same.I agree that Ankita should move on because she definitely does not look 50+ as do the other's.They just have not aged realistically.Having said that, expectation of realism from any of the Indian soaps is as ridiculous as telling a monkey not to eat a banana😆

It is a moot point that Ankita is gorgeous, with or without make-up and that is not for debate at all.What the other forum member was trying to convey that she should have greyed hair or something to show that she has aged but I think this was agreed upon by Ankita and Ekta as to not to so, that being a pre-requisite to her playing a 50 year old woman.She is doing her job perfectly well so I don't think it should matter.She won an award for it to boast👏So all we have to do is to take this with a pinch of salt, if people want to continue watching Pavitra Rishta that is.In the midst of all the other kind of stupidity that is potrayed, this is the least of concerns that any one should be having.Though now, I think Ankita needs to leave asap.Please Bappa...for once listen to us!!

hmm ... ya .. ankita mentioned once recently that she has a huge collection of sarees from designers like manish malhotra , neeta lulla etc.. which she uses in the show ...

Lol ... I am actually all for her looking "unrealistically" young and gorgeous on the show ... I am totally in support of her looking beautiful and pampering herself as long as she is doing PR...

Look , if this was some "Emmy-worthy" show with a brilliant script n' all ... I would have wanted her to actually look like a believable 50 year old courtesy make up ... it would have been worth it...

but seriously , I find this show so crappy and lame-o ... that I feel , is it even worth that extra effort ... when the makers themselves havent put in that effort with the script ; PR went off the rails after the first eight months itself...

When nothing else about this show is believable and everything about this show is beyond repair... then really , Archana's looks and wardrobe is the least of its problems...

I dont have any props looking at gorgeous Archu/Anki so guess I will settle with that 😆

@Charmedforlife dear thank you that wonderful wish..I will surely make a request for Anki clone to the heavens above...😆
