That's fake Tayaba , don't pay any attention to that ...For the last year or so , this guy Sagar Saikia is just trying to show that he is going to work with Ekta Kapoor . Sometimes he said he would be Sachin , now saying same thing for Soham...he is nothing ...Just ignore it.

Dear Tanyaz, and Tayaba too (if I may),

It is not just a question of Ankita being 'the best' for you, Tanyaz, it is an objective fact, insofar as one can be objective about a thing like looks. Ankita is by any standards, extremely pretty, almost beautiful (and I do not use that word loosely; by it, I mean someone like Madhuri, or Aishwarya in her good poses), and she is easily the best looker among all the female leads on Hindi language TV today.

Plus she can cry buckets without disfiguring her face in the slightest, a huge advantage given her endless rona dhona scenes, whereas Asha's face, normally fine-boned and elegant, gets distorted and does not look at all good when she cries, as distinct from just tears rolling down her cheeks (remember the airport scene where she is leaning against a pillar and weeping? ).

Next, Ankita has a very compact figure, and a very nice, smooth back, without the slightest bulge. No, don't laugh, I am serious. Given the mandatory backless blouses these days, even for Varsha's mother-in-law, if Ankita had had a back like some of the others, eg Sakshi, it would have been tough to watch her day in an day out in those blouses!

Asha has, as I noted earlier, fine bones and an elegant, intelligent looking face, but beauty, no way. Teju looks like a gangling beanpole, and has no pretension to looks anyway. Ovi needs a good bit more of nose, and a lot less of the pout; a good complexion is can take her only so far in the good looks stakes. I never could understand the descriptions of her as pretty.

So, Ankita will win hands down, and not just in PR. She is also a very competent actress, which is just as well seeing the kind of stuff they dish out to her. I would only wish that she would not screech so much in the heavy duty scenes, and would not point her talons to make a point. It looks very unpleasant and it is totally unnecessary as well.But taken all in all, she is very easy on the eyes.

I do have some concerns, however, about the wisdom of her hanging around with this 50+ role, and 3 grown up daughters to boot, for too long. Public memory is a curious thing, and I think it would not help her in her future career to play such a middle-aged role for a long time. She might then find that even if Ekta keeps her reported promise and casts her as the young female lead in another show, this image of the 50+ Archana might linger in the minds of the audience, or at least a good part of it, and make it difficult for her to be accepted playing her own age in her new avatar.

As for the boy cast as Vishnu/Soham, we have not had a good look at him yet, but going by the photo of Ankit Narang in the forum some time back, he seems to me to look rather downmarket. Not someone you would choose to play, say, Arjun Kirloskar., but I dare say he will be perfect for the apprentice gangster. Soham was about 4 when he disappeared, and that was 19-20 years ago, for Manav did not leave for Canada till a year or two later. So Soham should still be very young, about 23-24, the same age as Arjun.

usually i cant agree with ur point of view about PR.we hv agree/diagree with each other😃but what u said about anki i also worried for anki in same reason.i hope anki start a new show as early as possible

I think I have not made myself quite clear in my comments about Ankita's future. I have no doubt that Ankita has potential, and perhaps much more than has been tapped in PR. She will definitely get new shows, though I have seen that most of the dominating female leads in our soaps seem to be often one serial wonders - like Kkusum, Saloni, Jiya, and Disha and so on and on ( I am afraid I know only the names of their characters).

But audience reactions cannot be controlled even by Ekta Kapoor, and I do not want Ankita to play 50+ for too long and take a chance on audiences no longer being able to identify with her as a 20 year old, that is all. It is not worth the risk for her to continue for, say, another year in PR. If it is wrapped by December fine, if not, she should take another look at it, I feel. Just being professional and doing her best with enthusiasm will not be enough to tackle this at least probable acceptance problem.

I only started watching this show for her when I saw the promo then went on to become a big Sushant fan ...In fact sometimes i found myself more as a Sush fan at times ...That guys is just incredible .No wonder he is getting these projects in Bollywood .

AS for Anki , I am a very proud fan ..I am not too worried about her future career .I have faith in this girl ..Just want her to be professional and do her work with as much enthusiasm as she always has ..

As for Ekta's promise ...Ekta is a business woman first and then anything else ..She only takes people for one reason , if she sees potential in them for pulling audience and making money for her production house .Nothing else matters for that lady ..

If Anki has this potential then she will be taken for other projects also ...

So till anything else happens , I will enjoy her work in PR, then I think she will get married and maybe take some break ...I am enjoying Anki's career one day at a time ...😊

Have not seen this boy playing Soham properly as yet ..I find him pretty handsome in the pictures .I guess it is up to everyone how they find someone ...

Can't say much for his acting right now ..That remains to be seen bu tfor me the track I am looking forward to the most is Manav ( another very good actor of the show Hiten whose work I enjoy ) getting kidnapped by his own son ...
