Does Archana think that she's the only person that knows love?
Does she think that love can only be proved through sacrifice just like she does, and that too sacrificing from an identity perspective? does she think that love is only a middle class. affair and upper class people are not capable of loving truly hence the need for Arjun to re-identify himself from an upper class guy to a middle class guy to prove his love. I know maybe she might think she's just been a protective mother. but is she actually been ptotective or from my perspective just been partial. i know, no doubt she loves Purvi but by this challenge i think she's letting her emotions get the better of her, she's acting with her heart and not with her mind, she's just not been practial, if not why didn't she feel the need to truly ascertain Arjun's love for Ovi when she learnt of their relationship, instead she was head over heels even refusing to see Purvi's pain then? Why didn't she ask Arjun to prove his love then? Is Ovi any different from Purvi. I cant remember anybody hearing the words 'i love you'from Arjun to Ovi but everybody can testify to that as regards to Purvi because it came from Arjun himself. Why is she finding it hard to accept this relationship even after hearing this words when she readily and happily accepted 'Ovi's obsessed with Arjun so called love relationship' even without those words.
i could go on and on and i dont intend to bash Archana's character, i'm just doing an analysis of the situation and why i refuse to see reason with Archana's challenge to Arjun, at least any other way to prove his love but not in the manner she wants him to because no matter how much anyone tries, a leopard can never change its spot just the way that by removing the kirloskar name, abandoning everything regarding that and living a life of nobody,we can never deny the fact that Arjun is still a Kirloskar son and not even nature can change that.
your take guys? comments and criticisms most welcomed.
