Here's a chapter of my fan fiction, which entails the Archana's prediction for next week. Thanks Archana for inspiration for the office scene with Punni! Really hope the CVs integrate something like this into the track. 😃
Chapter 5: Sajna Hai Mujhe Sajna Ke Liye
Arjun-Purvi's Home
"Ab office nahin jana?" asked Arjun as he moved a lock of hair from Purvi's eyes. "If I go, then who will take care of you?" she responded turning over. "But I'm fine. I'll even go with you." he said getting out of bed. "No, you won't anywhere. You're staying at home." she argued. "Mein ja raha hoon," he finalized, "and tonight we have a wedding to go to. One of my colleagues, Mr. Dhaneja, he's getting married at the Shivji temple." "Wow! What great news?" exclaimed Purvi. "Did you get him anything?" "Yup. We'll have to be ready before five, ok?" "Accha." said Purvi as she left to shower. While he thought she had left, Arjun called Archana to affirm the time and location of his wedding. Purvi overheard their conversation and was elated to know she would be getting married tonight.
The Office
Purvi walked into Arjun's cabin, "Arjun, I have some paperwork for the Angelica Heights project and our clients from Kolkata sent some files to review and Mr. Mehta wants to schedule an appoinment with you about the Andheri project." "Ok, come here and we'll review them." he replied. She made her way to him and began to explain the documents to him. Arjun, however, was only staring at her. He could not take his eyes off the radiant woman that stood before him. Pulling her by the waist, he got her sitting on his lap. "Arjun," she smiled shyly, "not here." Arjun playfully brushed his nose against Purvi's cheek causing her title her neck towards the caress. He pecked her cheek and she closed her eyes, absorbing the moment. "Purvi?" Arjun asked. "Ha?" Purvi opened her eyes. "Main tumse bahut pyaar karta hu." Her hands brushed through his hair and their foreheads touched. They both beamed until a knock at the door broke the blissful moment.
Punni entered and was shocked to see their position. "Oh Ms. Poornima, please, come in." Arjun called directing her towards a seat in front of his desk. Punni uncomfortably adjusted herself into the seat. "I know you must be surprised to see Purvi and me like this," he grinned, "but I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart, literally. Had it not been for your masterfully created MMS or your big mouth at the Party, Purvi and I would not be here before you, so madly in love." "Ha Punni Tai," chimed in Purvi, "thanks so much for telling everyone about us. It saved us a lot of time." Punni shriveled away in her chair, shrinking away at all the insults and evident backfiring of her plans. "To congratulate you Ms. Poornima, I am firing you. I am sure your skills in treachery will be of great use outside this office. Goodbye." Arjun and Purvi smirked. Horrified, Punni left the room. She couldn't believe what had just happened. She knew not whether to be angry or to repent; though, she was sure she would avenge.
"So Mehta wants Angelica Heights to be in Kolkata?" questioned Arjun as he rested his head on Purvi's shoulder. They both broke out into laughter.
Arjun-Purvi's Home
Purvi laid out all her sarees on the bed, unsure which to wear on her wedding day. Suddenly, she remembered that a few days ago Arjun had bought her a red saree for "parties and functions." Now understanding his intent, she was sure of her choice. However, she couldn't manage to get on the red choli and shouted for Arjun's help. "Kya hai Purvi?" he asked already decked is a shining slate grey suit. "Arjun, I can't seem to close the hooks of this blouse." she answered. He walked over and grabbed the hands that were struggling to get the clasps to meet. Relaxed, Purvi lowered her hands and allowed him to try. His warm breathing against her neck was soothing. "Purvi, yeh bahut tight choli hai. If I close it, you won't be able to breathe all night." reasoned Arjun. "Chalega, I only have to wear it for a few hours." With that, he fastened the clasps. "How do I look?" Purvi turned around. He was in a loss for words for the angel that stood before him. He grabbed her waist and was only a few centimeters away from her lips. "Bahut khoobsurat lagti ho." he replied. Purvi blushed and ran towards the main door. Arjun adjusted his coat and walked out after her.
