DK found out before he left for australia...Arjun told him once Purvi had reciprocated her love to him...DK was to be gone for couple of days only instead he ended up in Ausie land for 3-4 wks..He defo could have called Manav and talked to him...Manav would have understood if either DK or Arjun had let him know b4 the engagement...Dk did not know b4 engagement but Arjun did...he could have understood the consequencies of the whole thing...He is 21 may be immature and naive and irresponsible too. But DK has defo goofed by not telling Manav when he found out.I found his behavior and dialogues casual and non challant. Arjun showed bit of remorse for hurting Ovi and Manav...But DK never gave a second thought abt his friendship with Manav, Business relationship or Archana and Manav's marriage if his blessing to arjun to go ahead and marry purvi...There will be repurcussion of this to everything...I have given credit to Archu today...Not sure how long it wil last...Things can be taken care of or hndled in much better manner if everyone remains calm and coolheaded..Lets see what happens..Hope this helps..
Varsha, to tell you the truth I never watched Arjun/Porvi scenes that closely...so I am guessing now, he came to know about it after the engagement, but never thought to tell Manav right away, and he had every right to know...I mean he could have called him too, if Arjun didn't have the courage to face Manav...I agree he is pretty callous and taking not only his friendship lightly, but his son's future marital life...I guess the Cvs are trying to show him balanced cool individual...but I kinda thought that he came across too casual today...he was shown too cool in my view now...I guess I missed this part that he knew of the affair before, for a shrewd businessman this kind of neglect to communicate doesn't match his image of a successful man...I mean in business, success is often related to having the right information at the right time and acting on it...so man I am a bit upset today with him...
Archu did fine today, but not sure what her talk with the D's family will translates too, she talked calmly and maturely for a change...I guess except Ovi (and Manv), she has convince all to some extent for now...but I am not sure how she is going to manage Ovi's anger going forward...besides, if Porvi is to marry Arjun, this will cause way more problems now...so am not sure how her character will manage these events...you all are probably right that the Cvs might flip flop again ...I am curious to see how the Cvs work the track, but can't really see how Arjun comes to live in the chawl (as I read in the forum for whatever reason)...in reality this doesn't end up being a cordial end result for anyone ...so wanted to see if she can make Ovi realize that letting Arjun go is the best...I'm wondering what is the next step for Archu...
