My gut feeling is that he does have a small crush on her 😳 In school, the guy will bully and tease the girl that he secretly likes. From the SBS segments he is always teasing her constantly...he is also looking at her and touching her in some capacity. I want you to clear your mind for a minute and go to Issa's thread- then view these particular SBS segments for me.

1) The corporate party scene with Purvi in a sari and they are dancing...it is not part of the segment because the lights are on...notice how RD looks at her when she is not looking
2) The dhaba SBS scene...while they are talking to the reporter RD almost puts his arm around her then leans around and puts it on the fence instead.
3) The same beach segment you are talking about: when the reporter asks what their plans are after they are done, RD answers for Asha...just like a boyfriend would do for girlfriend...says she sleeps all the time any chance she gets. He has to be extremely close to her to know what she does at home and that is her habit.
Some of you may think Im crazy to notice such small things but here is a secret: I am actually pre-law...sat for the LSAT (Law School Admissions Test)...and studied logical reasoning, logic games, and analytical reasoning very heavily and extensively. I wound up over-analyzing everything as a result (😛) but it does from time to time kick in to give me a keen observation sense.

👏Lovely analytical post...your background explains it all...thnx for sharing...
and above all you came through for your (and our dearly loved RD) "LADLA" 😉
Thanks abhi!!! 😃 Thanks also to Shyamala, Debu, Trish and everyone who complimented me on my logic reasoning skills (**smiles** Im known to look at the small things and overanalyze everything to death so it makes me feel good you guys like my long posts and are not taking me to task for boring you to death 😊)
Now if only my "Ladla" could get his act together and get the ball rolling in summoning up his courage, claiming Purvi, and sending the "limpet" (Shyamala just love this term) packing back to Canada...RD/Arjun will be back in our good graces and we all forumers can get back down to business!!!!😉

God! 😲 I can't believe there is such a lengthy discussion on such a tiny remark.
I am not here to lecture or offend anyone or but please don't scrutinize so much, even if it is positive comments you are making after detailed scritinization. This will only put pressure on them and force them to take up fake personas in front of cameras in future. They will think 10 times how to answer anything and this will only alienate them and pretend. Let them be as they are. They are young and work hard. Let them not have this added pressure of living up-to certain section of certain fan's expectations. Let them be natural.

The actors have access to all these and they can read it too. Just place yourself in their shoes and think how it would all look like.

I watched the segment and all I can say is that he just praised Archana/Ankita for her dancing skills even by bringing in Purvi's name. Nothing more to it. In all these off-screen segments the channels are constantly referring to them as the characters, whereas they are not really the characters all the time. For e.g. like this one where they were practicing for an awards ceremony, there are not really the characters, though they did get recognition playing the character in their show. The only reason he might have brought up Purvi is because the interviewer referred to him as Arjun and for him Arjun and Purvi are always together. He can't seem to think beyond Purvi when there is anything about Arjun. That is all.

To each his own, but please don't dissect every off screen actions so much. At the end of the day they are humans too. They have emotions. They have a life too.

i dnt kno if he is jealous but i do kno that he loves to tease her alot.
i mean even when Ovi is with them or Jia he only teases Asha. If u guys remember when asked what they wud do after the beach seg he only said what asha was going to do, nothing abt Jia.
Even when Jia is with them at other times he only talks abt Asha and troubles her. When they were playin hide n seek he cud have catch any gurl but he chose Asha and then when she wasnt happy with him cheating he made faces at her. In an interview when asked who is is closest to in PR he said that they hang out with a group and amongst them Purvi. I think that since most of their scenes are with each other he feels more comfortable with her. They both have done the most scenes so far with each other. In one of the interviews when Purvi was confessing on sbs he said that the he scenes gives him a gud feeling or something like that.Asha was the one who said that the scenes that were to cum at that time wud be difficult since they r romantic scenes and they are gud friends. But then RD said that the scenes giv him a gud feeling. I dnt kno if anyone remembers those things that i jus mentioned abt Asha and RD if u do plz comment

Maybe enough is said abt this topic over a remark RD made. Let's just forget about it and move on from this otherwise we will be busy
discussing this matter and maybe forget abt the bigger picture.
Whatever they prefer to do outside the screen is their business I guess and let's leave it to that.

I agree with your comment that Ankita is modern/hot like you said.
But I request you to please refrain from passing mean comments for your co-stars. Asha is a very supportive co-star. And we have always seen that she passes no mean comments for you in any segment or behind your back, But your comment today on national tv in that segment has upset many arvi fans, who believe that arjun-purvi are the best pair on TV.
If you say, why Purvi is needed in PR when a sasuma like Ankita is there, then you should realise that Arvi chemistry became so popular because of the both of you, not just one person.
I request you to please not pass disrespectful comments for Asha.
Please remain as humble as you always have been.
Thanks,

Dear Trish, Nowadays we are ArVi fans are very sensitive to our dear Purvi and a little upset with AK so RD making a comment about Asha upsets you is a natural. Because you are feeling upset about RD comments, I watch the SBB segment over and over again, and I truly believe he was just joking. I am thinking glass half full instead of half empty, means mentioning Purvi he was thinking about her, and may missing her as well. I would not worry about it. I definitely wish RD-Asha were performing together at ITA.
