Unreal characters make a real Pavitra Rishta..

I have been watching PV since the past few years..and might end up watching for the next few years ...courtesy Ekta Kapoor and her penchant for melodrama...but I do have a love-hate relationship with the characters in PV... The character of many people in this soap are so unreal at times...

People who want Archana & Manav to be together don't make an effort to bring them together.. Manav's dad & Vandita have taken a vow of silence about not telling the truth for 18 long years...which I dont think can ever happen in real life...any father/father in law who has such fondness for his son & his wife will never remain quiet for such a long time... I get so 😡😡 when i watch his character in the serial..


Archana...- Purity & Principles personified...she has immense love for her husband & children but doesnt put in much effort to fight for what is right..which is against the very grain of her principles..No mother can remain separated from her children without solid reason..and Archana's reason that she kept away from children adhering to Manav's word sounds feeble..Manav's Character is not of an ogre..Many of us say things that we don't mean in anger and Manav had done the same...she could have put in some efforts to clear the air later on atleast...

...a wife and mother close to reality would fight for the injustice dished out by her mother in law and expose her truth instead of keeping quiet and silently suffer such injustice...

Archana's character has a strange sense of justice and sounds flawed & unreal...she brought about justice to vaishu at the cost of Madhuri's happiness...and justice to word given by her to her husband at the cost of her daughters ' happiness...justice to sachin at the cost of her husband's happiness... kind of confused about the basics of emotional relationships...hope she hasnt passed on such confusion to Purvi during her up bringing...otherwise we have to brace ourselves for the second bout of PV...all over again...

Most of the Ekta kapoor's serials have evil & plotting characters...the leads of the serials are at the mercy of such evil characters...which is very far from the real life...In real life we do not have such evil characters nor will we react such meekly to injustice done to us ...circumstances & our decisions in life put us thru or out of hurdles and not people...so CVs...try depicting the real life circumstances.for a change ...if possible..!!!
